How many fucking NBA players give a fuck about the Asian and Russian communities? Dude, you are completely off base. I've been out with black co workers and friends here where they were they only black person in a bar for whatever reason, and they weren't super comfortable.

First of all Portland doesnt have 2.4 million unless you are considering the metro area of all the suburbs and vancouver.

Portlands census stats:

583 thousand. 6.3% Blacks. Thats 37 thousand. aprox. Quote off from your 64 thousand out of 2.4. But again. These people are living in the richest of neighborhoods. Show me ANY richest neighborhood in Any city and you will find a VERY high percentage of white people, so your point and time spent on this is moot.

Havent had it. All ive heard from people that have moved here from florida is they are pissed that we dont have yuenling, and that they dont even know where to start with all of our beer selection.

This biggest disconnect I feel is I have no clue what the lifestyle of a pro athlete is so I have no clue what they are looking for.

And those people make 15 to 20 mil a year?

I brought up ghetto because you seem to keep assuming rich neighborhoods in other cities have a majority of Blacks? They don't, so the only conclusion is you must be referring to the ghettos.
A young black millionaire athlete isnt going to care much whether there is 10% Black or 30% black ,because unfortunately the bulk fo that percentage live in another world compared to these millionaires and if these millionaires still want to socialize with the ghetto life they may have grown up in, they are goign to do it with the neighborhood and kids they grew up in. Not some stranger neighborhood in a new city.

Im not buying this, Portland is white so these guys arent going into other cities and hanging out with large populations of Blacks in rich neighborhoods either. Because there ARENT any. Sorry.

Obviously the metro area

As for rich areas and white people, Fort Bend county, right outside Houston, and one of the most affluent in the country is 36% white and 21% black. Portland is very white.
 
If Hell had a championship caliber team they would have no trouble attracting free agents. Players don't give a shit about night life, actually some do but those aren't the ones that win championships. Some of you worry about the dumbest shit.

Me either. But I would imagine a guy would look at the net difference in income between two places, like Portland and Memphis. One has an income tax of 11% and the other is zero income tax. Jizzyraider maybe swift as they come but damn man! That 11% is a big friggin chunk of 70m or 90m, what ever.

Half these guys go BK within 5 years of retiring. These are not great money managers. At most some see a lower tax rate and their first thought is they can add more members to their Hoop Families.

I never said anything to the effect of what you are claiming.

Just because a player signs with memphis or portland, does not mean they are a resident of that city.

Im not gonna go down the line and explain each bit of detail to you because you couldnt afford me.

Seriously though what are they in fact looking for? I have to be honest if I had the pay scale they have its not like I would need more 5* restaurants, most these guys just eat at normal places that are convenient. Inod think weather would be a pretty significant factor. As much as I say I like the rain man I'd rather have 80 and sunshine so I could enjoy being outside.
