Trade Portland has traded Tim Quarterman to the Houston Rockets for cash

If I'm right, this is a really slick deal.

NO was going to renounce him anyway, so we got cash and the salary recouped. Free cash.

On top of that, I believe Houston can renounce him and save the salary, too. Seems like the CBA would preclude this kind of thing, but I don't think it does.

I could be wrong.

Sounds like it will in 2018, according to Bobby Marks

Am I the only one that get's annoyed when people make generic thread titles? Why not be more specific and mention the actual trade? "Quarterman traded to Rockets for cash" for example.
Nope, see above. I dared to dream for just a second

Edit, post above yours

Another team that will be looking to dump salary is OKC. They'll be going after Griffin. How about Ezeli and a 2nd for Abrines? Gives us another shooter off the bench and insurance in case Crabbe gets dealt.

So there is an opportunity to be a Blazer if you change your name to Cash Considerations.

Cash Considerations. Seriously that sounds like a bad ass bounty hunter from early 90'direct-to-video thriller. BTW love the Blazers Twitter response.

"Why do they call you Cash?"

"Because I'm always..... (David Caruso stare) MONEY IN THE BANK!"

So now he plays for the Houston D/G-League affiliate instead of whatever one would let our players play for it?

Can any of our Cap gurus tell the minions among us how much the Blazers knocked off the cap and potential Luxury tax bill with this move?
