It's probably not going out on a limb to say that Domantas will be a great rebounder at the NBA level. He is relentless going after the ball, and as far as footwork, using his lower body for position, and basketball instinct is concerned, he is the Antimeyers.

He's a good college player and he's played some good teams. But he needs more than two years in college. If he leaves now, it's a mistake.

Recently Gonzaga's star freshman forward Domantas Sabonis was featured on the Mark Few Show to talk about why he chose to play for the Zags, how he likes to play the game and much more.

As of Wednesday, Feb. 18, Sabonis is averaging 9.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while shooting a nation-leading 70.7 percent from the field and 70 percent free throw line.

Why does the WCC play their tourney final 10-11 days before their first NCAA tournament game? Seems like a good way to get rusty and bounced quick.

My guess is that since they're a mid-major, the TV networks tell them not to try to compete with the big boys for viewers, so they need to play earlier in "championship week". But yeah, they'd probably be better served to play a few days later.

He looks very good to me. He's always the best rebounder on the floor and really has a nose for the ball.
Looks like a very smart player and I'd love to draft him. I don't know if Kingspeed thinks he's hot though.......
