PORTLAND: The "give up" year

This is why I want Nash. It would change things up and give us something new to watch. If not, I'm also starting to give up. Every game is the same. Fall behind, make a run, lose. Aldridge was right when he says it gets old. I'm going to Knicks Blazers in NYC on the 14th cuz the tix are free but that's it. Can't afford to go to any more live games.

I'm glad you're doing your part to improve the team's draft position. Every little thing helps.

im in the nash camp, i dont really give a fuck that he's older than rondo and he seems a little more believable. what he will bring is the knowledge of what it takes to win, and if nothing else will maybe point out some shit to nate/paul around what is broken in our team. i think the guy would make a hell of a coach one day too.

I haven't seen a team mail it in this bad since Derek Anderson sat out because he went to the dentist that day. Embarrassing.

It's a joke this team is .500 right now. Should be comfortably sitting in at least the #4 seed.

I don't get the impression they don't care - I get the impression that they're depressed/exhausted/confused.

The other thing about the Drexler teams - the Blazers ALWAYS led the league in rebounding (despite the leading rebounder [Buck - we need another Buck] getting less than 9 r/gm - it was a total team effort).

Would Rondo help? If he's one thing besides a moody curmudgeon, it's a competitor.

I think that's exactly it. If the Blazers are to have a chance at salvaging this season, Nate and the team leaders need to get on the same page PDQ and rebuild some morale.

Hey, look who's back? Were you on vacation? While you were gone, Nic has played pretty damn good. Ironic if you think about it.

I don't know what some of you are talking about. They played very hard last night. You authority worshippers are falling for Nate's ongoing excuse, lack of effort.

Comparing this team's pace of the 90s to now, without mentioning Adelman, just shows that--

In both economics and basketball, some people are blind to the overriding influence of The System and perceive only individualism.
