he made me with his stupid posts, and picking and choosing with what stats he decided to follow.

oh and BITE ME.

Yep, that's right. He FORCED you to spend 10 minutes putting together a treatise on his wrongness. No choice, you had. In fact, you showed incredible restraint by avoiding insults and obscenities.

Well done, sir. Well done indeed.

it actually only took 5mins. going to nba.com and copy+paste is pretty simple.
sorry.
bite me again wannabe.

Apparently you didn't scroll enough.

so you say one thing. then you say another. hmm seems like Charles Barkley.
at least he has a couple days between the bogus stuff he says.

/math > you. byebye

You are confusing what the entire point of the debate is.

Maris said we shouldn't make a trade because it would fuck things up. My point was that things are already pretty bad. Over the past two months we're barely playing .500 ball. Ergo, my point is that a trade wouldn't hurt the team as much as Maris is trying to make seem.

Where did I say we're not going to make the playoffs?

I'm curious--what it is you think I wannabe?

I thought they were banning folks for personal attacks here?

From what I see, we don't have trade pieces but if we traded anyone, Barton and Claver would probably be the guys. I think CJ, Meyers and Crabbe will be here for at least another year with those rookie contracts but Claver needs to play and so does Barton. They both have some trade value.

in addition we've just lost LMA for a week at least and Meyers for 2-3, we need one BIG at least. Heck cut Barton and pickup someone like Dwayne Dedmon or someone else

Meyers Leonard is out for 2-3 weeks? Yesssss!!!!!

so which one of those three were directed towards you? do tell.
therefore I was trying to be respectful towards you. the other guy not so much because his very first post was disrespectful and attacking my post.
see?

once again i'll quote you and once again you'll completely ignore the quote, but that's okay I understand if you don't want to own up to what you said.
and if I get banned for repeating myself again and quoting you, what an abuse of power.
it seems like you don't like my answers/quotes because it shows you, your wrong. so you keep saying the same things to get me to answer differently.
I work with someone like that, doesn't work when he does it. certainly won't work when you do it. sorry.

Okay sweet pea, in the last two months (21 games) they are 11-10. So we are BARELY playing .500 ball in the last two months. Maybe you didn't notice, but .500 ball doesn't get you in the playoffs. The Grizzlies are 30-23 right now and they're in 9th place.

there is where you said .500 ball doesn't get you into the playoffs. but that's okay I understand the confusing words you wrote. but .500 ball would get the blazers in the playoffs. see previous posts.

I actually wasn't debating anything. I was showing YOU that your statement is false. repeating myself again here but hey maybe it'll sink in.
If the Blazers were to play .500 ball the rest of the way they'd finish 2 games ahead of the suns. Making the playoffs.
I showed in my previous post the math, maybe it would be best to read it. Unless you considered it tldr and decided to just post without reading. Which from the sounds of your questions maybe that's what you did who knows.
And if you'll go back to the previous quote of you. You said .500 ball doesn't make the playoffs then stating the grizz are 7 games above .500
therefore you don't believe .500 ball makes the playoffs. Therefore. need I continue?

PtldPlatypus will be blocked after this post as I'd rather not see his "joking" or "wannabemod" posts anymore.
to just follow someone blindly when another person posts stats and quotes showing the person was wrong. Is just insanity.
As is me replying to this post because if history has shown me anything with this thread is i'll once again receive another part of this reply in a quote to attempt to show how my post is wrong.
that's okay too.

seems like blazerfanatic on the previous forums all over again.

That's okay. Some people are just unwilling to admit they're wrong in real life. Why would a forum be any different?

Have a wonderful day.

Please, show me where I said "if we play .500 ball the rest of the way, we won't make the playoffs."

I said .500 ball doesn't get you in the playoffs. That's an ambiguous statement, and I illustrated my point by showing teams that are currently above .500 and are out of the playoff picture. Nowhere did I say that the team would miss the playoffs, or that playing .500 the rest of the way would not get us in the playoffs. You simply misunderstood my point. It's okay.

disrespectful....
Maybe that's what you attempted to say, but in no way is that what you said. Enough spinning it sheesh.
Last time I will do this, because it's just not worth it. Frankly can agree to disagree with what YOU said.
Not to mention I'm finding it silly with the spinning of words you attempt.

Here you said in the last two months 21 games the blazers are 11-10. Barely playing .500 ball.
Can logically deduce with this statement the Blazers are playing .500 ball.
You then said.
.500 ball doesn't get you into the playoffs.
Meaning the Blazers wouldn't make the playoffs playing .500 ball.

Something I still find funny is here. :biglaugh::drumroll:

You're assuming that the teams below us are playing .500 ball the rest of the way. Up until now, Phoenix is just a hair under .600, Golden State is .585, Dallas is at 58.2.

It's funny that you took the entire season winning % for three teams. Then tried to apply it to your statement that over the last 21 games the Blazers are 11-10. Then completely ignored it when I pointed it out, because it was something you couldn't put a spin on at all.
:lol::lol::clap::crazy::wub::tsktsk::bgrin::deadhorse::rofl:

yes the last couple posts have been a bit disrespectful. But will only take it for so long.

You are the only person talking about disrespect, while simultaneously throwing insults at people like "die in a fire" and "bite me." You might want to take your own advice broham.

I told you what I meant. You chose to ignore it. So be it. You're trying to turn this into a discussion about whether we're going to make the playoffs, and that's not what it was about. Stop trying to change the subject. Maris said that making a trade would be bad for the team, and I was trying to point out that the team is already playing poorly. Stay on topic.
