Well Travis Outlaw never has, so what does it matter? I mean, why get into shape for the beginning of the season, or work on your game, when you can go Bass Fishin?

Good lord, I see people talking themselves into Sean May ... what a disappointing off-season so far.

It's not like anyone here expects him to be a part of the rotation. We're talking a 13th, 14, or 15th man. He'd either be sitting at the far end of the bench, or behind it in street clothes. May should be able to handle this role. Lord knows he has enough experience sitting behind the bench in street clothes - probably already has lots of nice suits.

Hehe. I actually think, depending on his physical condition, that he could fit into the rotation at backup power forward. He'd be like a Channing Frye who could rebound... and occasionally make one of the many perimeter jumpers he jacked up.

Ed O.

I liked him better when he played for us last year under the name Ike Diogu.

I actually feel that with time, Diogu could have been a pretty good backup.

Re: Portland Working out Sean May in Vegas

He's part of the pending Gerald Wallace deal. :smiley-pray:

After KP makes a toxic offer to him first.

Strategery.

I don't know if Sean May is the guy, but that's finally the right kind of thinking to net us a good fit at the backup 4, not paying starter's bucks for a limited role. Big bodied bangers with modest skill are a dime a dozen.

I'm not down on anybody in per se, but people discussing Sean May and weighing the merits and drawbacks and his overall game just tells me how lousy the off-season has been with regards to buzz and excitement ... I just find the fact that we're even talking about him a little dispiriting; this isn't who I saw myself thinking about a month ago.
