But if he was better than Lee, he wouldn't have been cut at all. They would've just stood pat.he was the only one on the team with a non guaranteed contract. It’s pretty simple.
As for the progress, he set career highs in PER, TS %, Rebound %, Block %, ASSIST %, DBPM, and BPM. If that isn’t real progress, I don’t know what is.
Agree there. Portland has an open roster spot & needs a big. We're scraping the bottom of the barrel - so ahead & take a flyer on him.I don't know if he will stick in the NBA or not, but it's certainly not going to make the Blazers worse to see what he can do. Who knows maybe he fits really well and becomes somewhat of another cast off that works well for Portland. Not sure what they lose by trying.
