The Giants have acquired Kevin Pillar from The Blue Jays as per Ken Rosenthal.
 
The Yankees have acquired RHP Jake Barrett off Waivers from The Pirates to make room on the 40 Day Roster RHP Ben Heller was transferred to the 60 Day DL. Barrett will play in Minor League Camp.

81 yr old Gaylord Perry, 80 yr old Phil Niekro and 68 yr old Ron Guidry have been signed to one year contracts.

Perry and Niekro have passed physicals and are pending MLB clearance to use a Walker on the Field, and clearances to possibly pitch from wheelchairs ...

Another brilliant find y our GM. Logan Morrison is the ass who stated that "Gary Sanchez is a great player but he doesn't belong in the Home Run Derby. So lets bring this guy up to an already fucked up clubhouse.

Wonderful just wonderful. A lifetime .239 hitter with 139 home runs over 9 seasons.

It was probably his 38 home runs in 2017 with tampon Bay.

A lifetime journeyman who plays first base and left field. Perhaps this is a precursor to Bird getting the axe, which bird deserves at least trade him for some pitching. Then again we need a first baseman other than Voit who looks like a butcher in a hen house when he plays the field.

I would rather have Boone Logan singing Van Morrison and pitching batting practice...

Yep that is correct, Lo Mo as he likes to call himself hit 38 for Tampa in '17 the same year he made the remarks about Sanchez. Problem with Bird though is that due to his medical problems no one will want him, hence another Ellsbury clone on the team. What a predicament.

as usual with most of Trashbin’s pickups is less than mediocre. Trashbin definitely does not look for quality.

Starter Nathan Eovaldi, who received a reported four-year, $68 million contract his offseason, will undergo surgery to remove loose bodies in his elbow, according to The Athletic. It’s a procedure he’s had before, missing two months in 2018 while with the Tampa Bay Rays, though this time it will only cost him 4-6 weeks.
The 29-year-old righty was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday, following his best start of the season: a six-inning outing against the Yankees in which he gave up an unearned run.
