Nov. 28: Patrick Corbin is making the rounds. After visiting Citizens Bank Park and the Phillies on Tuesday, the southpaw is slated to travel to New York on Thursday, where he will meet with the Yankees, according to MLB Network insider Joel Sherman.
Corbin has been considered (ahem) the apple of general manager Brian Cashman's eye for some time, and Cashman has made it known that his focus is on improving the Yankees' rotation. The club already has re-signed CC Sabathia on a one-year deal and traded for fellow lefty James Paxton from the Mariners this offseason. Could Corbin be next?

Somewhere along the way of his trips to Philly and New York, Corbin also found time to stop in Washington to see the Nationals, as ESPN's Buster Olney reported.

Given the number of suitors in the Corbin chase, Andy Martino of SNY wondered Wednesday whether the left-hander could sign sooner rather than later, especially since he's having "active conversations" with various clubs.

Half the time I think MK makes up these stories just for Ratings, and/or to get people to listen to him..

Bridwell, 27, struggled in limited action with the Angels in 2018, allowing 13 earned runs in 6 2/3 innings for a 17.55 ERA. ***
He spent the majority of the year on the Minor League disabled list with a right elbow injury.

After reaching the big leagues with the Orioles in 2016, Bridwell was dealt to the Angels in April 2017 and enjoyed a promising rookie campaign, going 10-3 with a 3.64 ERA in 21 games (20 starts) with Los Angeles.

What the flipping news doesn't tell us is Bridwell was drafted ahead of Jacob degrom in 2010, :blahblah:

*** He gave up 19 home runs in 121 IP in 2017, and he gave up 5 HR's in 6.2 Innings pitched. His elbow is highly suspect.

The highlight reels show Bridwell's sweet looking strikeouts, but failed to show us his batting-practicesque often, frequent and numerous home runs during games...

After all their lauding of Sanchez this past season as their ‘go-to man’, what do Trashbin, Boner really think
about “their star catcher”?
