Just summarizing general feel of these guys after workouts:

Trending up:
- Devin Carter - Vencinie says he is "dominating everyone, similar to what Jaquez did predraft last year... Times two."

- Salaun-- every one is saying he is killing dudes.

- Clingan?

Trending down
- Holland

Who else?

Sounds like Sheppard's floor is 4.
Bronny's team trying to push him to PHX or LAL.
Ware seems to be in the late lotto/mid-teens discussion pretty consistently now.

Also feels like most of the industry is comfortably connecting Buzelis to Detroit at 5, and it doesn't feel like Detroit is bothering to do much about that.

I couldn't help but wonder if maybe Monty was in total disagreement about that. Maybe that was the final straw.......

Marang says that Edey has been doing very well at workouts.

BTW, speaking of players likely to go undrafted, how does that happen to N'faly Dante? DPOY of Pac 12. Carried the team offensively in the late season. MVP of the Pac 12 tournament. 9 rebounds a game 3.6 stocks. Shot almost 70%. Saw somewhere his offense described as lobs and putbacks but I saw him double teamed constantly to stop his post game. He can't shoot threes and doesn't have a super motor but he sure does a lot right.

Old for a rookie, small for a C, lots of knee injuries, not a floor stretcher. That's all coming as a massive duck honk, mind you...

Yet same wingspan and standing reach as Ayton. Has definitely had a lot of injuries.

Looked at a couple mock drafts to check out the guys working out today. Found only Ighodaro late second on one. Are we looking for guys for our G-league team?

That was my thought.

There are a lot of things you can legitimately say about Dante--"small for a C" is not one of them. Outside of Clingan/Edey, he's the heaviest C in this draft with the longest wingspan, and is tied for 5th in standing reach. His size is the least of his problems.

Sturdy for sure. I guess I was talking more about how he played. Being 6'10 and basically unable to jump at this point, causes him to play smaller than what I would want as a center...

Yeah, his athleticism is most definitely the issue that will drop him to the second round.

He doesn't really need to jump with his 7'5.5 wingspan and 9'5 standing reach The only thing that I would be concerned about is his medical report on his knee. But at this point, he can still jump

They developed a guy they just drafted a few weeks ago?
absolutely, yes. Heat Culture is an instantaneous phenomenon. They had Ware nurtured and developed the day after he was drafted, using Spoelstra's secret telepathic cyber-optic brain modulator.

similar to the hardware in the movie Lawnmower Man. Though it's used for basketball, not military applications.

Is Miami aiming for a 3rd consecutive 8th seed in the upcoming season?
