Doesn't matter, the starters play to win and so should the 3rd stringers. Saying preseason is like saying in November that it's only November. You play to win, every game, until you make it part of your colture. Be it preseason, regular season or playoffs
Dude, wtf are you talking about? The preseason isn't like November. Those games COUNT, these DON'T COUNT.

Do you really think our end of bench players struggling at the end of games is going to hurt our "COLTURE"?

Cringe!

You are wrong. Period.
Ill say it.
You DON'T always play to win.
Some times playing to win in the LONG run, means trying things out in preseason to see what works best and that eval might cost a game.
Whats more important? Finding the best rotation for the regular season, Or winning a preseason(meaningless) game?

I rest my case......
10/10.

Are you actualy going to argue with me that we shouldn't always play to win? Sometimes it seems you're arguing just for the sake of arguing which makes your arguments rediculous.
To the topic: If we have an 18 point lead when the 3rd stringers come in and then lose the game or almost lose the game, the 3rd stringers should feel very bad about themselves like any real competitor would

Not in preseason... no.

Of course the players play to win, but the coach doesn't in preseason, as he should. Now yes our 3rd stringers suck, but who cares, that's why they are 3rd stringers

We need to win every game, to develop a winning mentality, like when leading by 10+ points do the unexpected and actualy make the lead bigger. That's how you become a winning team. Not by giving up excuses for not at all bad 3rd unit forfeiting double digit leads in minutes and not against the other team's starters.
It's nice that we're cruising but I want us to cruise to a double digit win, not to losing to the Suns and barely escaping against the Raptors

Relax. The pre-season is a time where coaches evaluate who will make the team as 3rd stringers, which bench players deserve to be in the rotation, and who should win starting jobs at the positions where there isn't a clear leader (sf and pf for us).

It just show me that some of those players that out there in that rotation shouldn't be on the team when they make there cuts.
