Has your hatred of the Lakers diminished at all in the past few years?

Don't have to be down to 15 roster spots until the regular season.

Teams must trim their rosters down to the 15-player max 48 hours before the season starts. That gives the players that are cut time to clear waivers so they can be picked up by any teams currently carrying fewer than 15 players.

I always thought it was 15 active for preseason and only 12 active for regular. Shows how little I know...
No youre right OB (but I think its 13 on the active roster) but that doesn't mean the other two aren't on the team remember last year when we had cliff and montero in the 14-15 slots they were inactive most of the season but still on the roster. When we had guys go down with injuries we would activate one of the two of them.

This is one of my least favorite rules in the NBA and frankly all of sports. It was a rule from a time when teams couldnt field the full 15 guys or find replacements when guys got hurt. That is obviously not the issue anymore. The NBA should get rid of the d league and expand rosters to 20 (15 active roster spots) with teams allowed a 5 man practice squad kinda like in the NFL. It would allow teams to groom players that might not get a chance otherwise and keep the players they develop. A la will barton.

I liked Stotts on Coaches Open Court talking about suiting up all 15 guys...making them all eligible to play any game of the season and I completely agree
I never understood why the final 2 guys could never suit up.

Does anyone have a way to stream it? I have cable access to NBA TV but not where I'm at. I got a laptop and internet connection, but Playstation Vue doesn't carry NBA TV...

By cable access I mean I have an account that has NBA TV, so I can stream it online but my cable package where I'm at doesn't have it.

It's so fucking dumb that NBA TV doesn't have an online live streaming option. I mean, they blackout league pass games from other markets if they're broadcasting on NBA TV so that you have to watch their NBA TV channel... but they don't provide the option to stream it? Makes no sense....

Nbatv is doing their Blazers preview before tip off, however they aren't saying anything a legit Blazers fan wouldn't already know. Basic stuff like rotation, and who does what (Meyers makes 3s, Plumlee can pass, etc...)

Steve smith thinks Blazers win 47
Rick Fox thinks 45 (but is an improvement because they won't surprise teams, whatever the hell that means...basically sounds like he's discrediting the scouting dept. of every NBA team)

Both think that the Blazers get bounced in the second round. Again Fox claims somehow this will be an improvement.

Neither think that both guards will be all stars. Smith says Lillard already is locked in as an all star in his mind. Fox thinks that it would be no question that both would make it if they played in the east.

Lakers broadcast, ugh.

Although it will be fun hearing them talking about how good our players are as we are kicking their teams ass.

Why don't they just quit playing the national anthem. It's just become a way for sport figures to feel important by coming up with a stupid way to demonstrate.

Lakers announcers on nbatv. Collabro and Hurd must not have traveled with the team.

The Lakers starting lineup looks like a bunch of terrorists.

Why don't they just put Turner/Harkless on the other teams best perimeter scorer?
