First off I was taught that respect isn't GIVEN, it's EARNED.
Secondly, It started off when some of the guys on here saw a video of me on the big screen with my wife. and a few pics I posted. She's hot, what can I say. I grew up around guys that all we did, was crack on each other. Football teams, on the hoop courts, while in the Army, wherever. So after me blasting on these geeks way back in the day, the only thing they had on me was to talk about hooking up with my wife. It's a long running joke that only a couple, including yourself obviously, have an issue with it.

@HCP, @Orion Bailey, @Dougnsalem, myself and some other guys who are fairly new, have spent a lot of time in this forum, and have put a good bit into it. I am not trying to take anything away from the peeps that have been her a long time either. But, I think we deserve some respect for the time we put in. Maybe your not trying to show any disrespect; I really don't put much into what you say when your in hazing mode. But, Orion and Doug feel disrespected, so instead of defending yourself, is it so hard to say my bad man, I meant no disrespect, and ease up. There are many hills with great views. I don't need to sit on this one and have a Blazer affiliate constantly try to degrade me. He is shortsighted and doesn't remember how he treated me when he first came back form vacation and nothing has changed since. The dude has self esteem issues or something if he needs to create split personalities and be nice in person but an ass online. I don't get it. And I don't care to read it. It's sad really, but the typical bully always thinks he is cool and will never change... so I move on....and take the high road.

Regarding this, there's a difference between respecting someone's knowledge or ability, and the respect afforded to people simply based on their humanity. Nobody expects you to respect the newbs' basketball knowledge until they demonstrate some that is comparable to yours (fortunately, that isn't difficult), but there's no reason not to treat them at least as well as you would treat in line with you at Starbucks. I mean, would you ever tell someone, "Hey rook--you can't order that half-caf, no-foam vanilla latte until you've filled up at least three punch cards, bitch!! I've been here a year and a half, which I know isn't to horribly long, but in that year and a half I have been in this forum nearly every day, and I have put in a lot of input, and had a lot of good experiences here. Now, I'm not too worried about @HCP harping on me, as he couldn't knock a Coors light outta @BlazerWookee's hand, and I give it right back to him just as good. But, when is it that I do enough to get respect. I've done more in my four thousand some odd posts then many have done in ten thousand. Again I don't take anything he says seriously, but he is actually running prospective members off with less consitution, and pissing other members off that I have respect for like @Orion Bailey and @Dougnsalem. That's where I draw the line.

The part that gets people is not even the "Schtick" itself, but the fact that he refuses to apologize. He is about as apologetic as Donald Trump. To clarify, I never said I was offended. I said I was annoyed. With the constant degradation this place loses its fun. Ribbing each other is one thing, especially when you know each other or have met in person. This is not ribbing. This is creating a division within the fandom and treating new people like crap. Ribbing happens between people that know each other. Not some old vet giving it to new members. Huge difference.
It gets tiring to read someone who posts to some as if they are in some clicky family and then call all others names that he KNOWS is meant to try to push buttons and then crys "What did I do????"

Because of me, Kevin Pritchard, Tom Penn, a plethora of assistant coaches, numerous Blazer employees and players have joined this site. And this was BEFORE it was even recognized by the team. That doesn't sound like like stunting shit my man. That sounds like mad marketing skills.

-You keep saying I'm a Blazer affiliate. No more than the kid who sells you popcorn or beer at the game. I'm not an employee, I have a contract for 6 months. I grew up going to games with my family. I'm a fan first like everybody here. Who do you work for? Doesn't matter does it.

-I totally remember how I rookie hazed you. Why would I have forgotten? You cried about it then and you still are. You sent me PMs about it, like you wanted us to go to counseling or something.

-The last thing I have is self esteem issues. One might say I'm a bit too high on myself actually. Feeling good about myself has NEVER been a problem. I think self confidence is a tool to use to succeed. I'm in a people person business. If you can't handle yourself in social situations, you'll fail. I never intend to.

Funny thing is, I had never been on the internet, let alone a forum until I found this place. I've learned interacting on here, you can't determine tone in a post. Sarcastic, serious or whatever. I've had some dudes over the years fire off a post aimed at me, that most would find offensive. I never let what any of you on here say affect me. 99% of you don't know me. I remember when I first came on here over on BFF some guys were dicks to me. I kinda took as a social challenge. I fired back and they liked it. Started showing me respect and never looked back. You do notice the guys who have been here have my back right? You do notice the MODS and the god damn owner of this site haven't said a thing to me right? You know why? Because like I said before, 1 or 2 of you come on here and gripe about me every few years, then they realize to man up, fire back at me and let's talk hoops.
