Game Thread PRESEASON GAME # 6: BLAZERS @ JAZZ - OCTOBER 19, 2016 - WEDNESDAY, 6:00 PM (PDT) NO TV!

The Jazz sat Favors, Hood, Burks, and Hayward last night and do not look like they are playing them Wednesday either. I still would prefer to watch the game over the debate though.

Hayward and Burks are both injured, and Favors was day to day.

Yeah I realized that. My thought process was with all the Jazz players out, this game will have little intensity. It will be boring, but would still be more watchable than the debate, if it was on TV

I read an article on fivethirtyeight.com this morning that basically said 3rd debates don't really matter. Most people are firmly in one camp or the other by now. I watched the first two and have seen enough. I'd MUCH rather watch POR vs. UTA Preseason 2, than Trump vs. Clinton Debate 3.

What I am most curious about is seeing, is how Stotts plans to defend Hood and Favors on opening day.

Hood at 6'8" is not an ideal match up for CJ and Favors is not the ideal match up for Aminu.
Does he alter the starting line up for that game, maybe start Crabbe vs Hood and Davis vs Favors? ....assuming Favors will be back by then?

It's been a couple years since I've had to steam a game. Back then, if a bootleg/unofficial link was posted, it would get shut down within minutes.

WHY DID WE SIGN MEYERS TO A 4 YEAR DEAL? we can't even deal him because his value is so bad. Constant injuries and looks like the same player we drafted 4 years ago. Oh, he can shoot? wow that's cool because he sure seems hesitant to do the only thing he is good at. I was always saying we should let Meyers go and sign Harkless. We signed Meyers first. Sure he is a good guy but don't understand the love fest with this dude. Vonleh can get those minutes. AND for all we know since he missed two games in the preseason and played one terrible game, he will start having the mental block issues he is known for. Dude talks a big talk every year. Last year about being a leader with Dame and this year, never improves.

I think we signed him a little high but I do think it was better than letting him walk. I don't see us having a problem dealing him personally. The contract seems a little high due to the new cap but I don't think other teams would bat a eye at it. I see Crabbe as the harder move (even though he is the better player) unless we package him with Vonleh down the line.
