When Przybilla takes the floor tonight he will complete his 2 year quest for playing in all 82 games! Iron Man!

Does Jensen still have to kiss his a$$?

He's a team guy, but this is a huge personal accomplishment for him. He had a lot of knee trouble when he first came into the league.

Congratulations, Joel.

A great accomplishment for the first guy to really put skin in the rebuilding Blazer organization.

As I fan, I'll never forget him choosing Portland over San Antonio at a time when that looked like a foolish decision.

Wouldn't you love to see him get at least one title as a reward?

I remember thinking it was a risky move form him, then thinking maybe we overpaid, and now thinking he is a key part of our success.

Just saw on ESPN that Pryz got hit by bus!

Major props to Joel. When he came to Portland I remember thinking, "Great. Another 7 foot stiff washout."

Then it was, "This guy can't go two minutes without fouling."

Then it was, "No way we get to re-sign him if San Antonio wants him."

Then it was, "He can't play more than a few games without getting injured."

And here we are. The guy has proven me wrong at just about every turn, and I couldn't be happier. Well done. Major props to Joel and all he's achieved.

Now, it's just a shame he'll never be able to score on anything but a wide open dunk. (Come on, big guy, prove me wrong again.)

I don't think I'm way off by saying that Joel might have been our 2nd most valuable player this season. I love LA, but what Pryz brought to the team on and off the court was amazing! Remember everybody, he can become a free agent after next season!

I totally agree. Without Joel, this season doesn't go nearly as well.

Ha, found ya Max, forget to check here. Was wondering why no appearance at Olive with the playoffs looming. What a season eh?

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He was one of my favorite players to talk to, and he's probably one of the most down to earth and sincere players I've ever met. I'm glad we still have him.

I'm a huge fan of Joel's.

IMO, Joel's contribution to this team is summed up in the story after he broke his hand near the middle of the season. When Quick asked Joel if Joel would play in the next game, Joel scoffed, as if it was ridiculous to even ask. Of course Joel would play with a broken hand!!

That toughness and and team-first mentality has been invaluable to this team. Congrats Joel!!

Major props to Joel. He's a guy who does not have unreal talent but with hard work and teamwork has maximized what he does have and never complains about what he's not. He's taken ENORMOUS pressure off Greg Oden this year. His rebounding allows LMA and Trout to move to where they best like to shoot. And he's got his teammates backs.

I am so glad he's a Blazer and not a Spur. Without Joel, Portland is maybe a 7 seed.

is there any doubt that he wouldnt resign here?

Props to Joel. He has been one of our most valuable players this season.

I remember getting into an argument with someone (Maris?) about the way Nate limits Joel's MPG. I argued that Nate was right, and that Joel is one of those guys where fewer MPG = more games played. Anybody still want to argue whether Nate got it right?

Joel is an animal and the Blazers fans are:cheers: very fortunate to have him!!!

Hopefully in two years time KP will have the Spurs' "resign vets for cheap" mojo going and Joel will be happy to extend his contract, I'd hate to see him play anywhere else.
