9 points and 3 rebounds last night against San Antonio's second unit. Really? I mean, really?
Tim Duncan, who was sitting on the bench in a suit, must have wondered who #12 was for Portland. It certainly wasn't the same guy who destroyed him last time they faced each other. Nope. Our overlooked "All-Star" just couldn't force himself to get interested in the game, apparently, so he mailed it in the way Isiah Rider used to do.
Thankfully, we have a guy named Andre Miller who knew it was still a real NBA game that would count in the standings, and came to play. He and Gerald Wallace and Batum bailed us out on a night when Aldridge couldn't have cared less.
post of the day!If you're going to bash the guy after one of his worst games of the season (and he's had very few truly bad games since mid-December), you should also give him props when he deserves it.

In the two games since you posted this thread, Aldridge has averaged 28 PTS and 11.5 REB on 0.556 FG%. So, why haven't you started a dedicated thread about how well he bounced back from one of his worst games of the season - about how proud you are of his most recent performances? Or do you only start negative threads and prefer to let the positive go unnoticed?

a point worth a repost... there was at least 8 of these instances in the last two games with Chris Paul and WestbrookThe rebounding arguments against LaMarcus always amuse me. I'm sure LaMarcus could grab 8-9 rebounds in his sleep - you know, provided in his sleep Portland wasn't running a switch defensive that left him on the perimeter guarding 6'2 guards.
