To be fair....clipps still have a good number of real fans...if chris paul leaves, no one will support that franchise

This makes no sense..... why buy the team just to trade away a top 5 nba player...

Maybe it's always been his dream to own an NBA team and now he realizes he can only afford a slimmed down team. Besides they haven't got that far with Paul in the past so maybe they want to try something new, take a chance on Oden being a superstar.

And since I think this trade is about money; here is one that would really help the Hornets:

We take Paul, Okafor and Posey; we give out Pryzbilla, Miller, Oden, Batum, Webster and Pendergraph. (this works on Realgm)

They get two potential superstars, a cheap replacement for Okafor, two expiring contracts and Webster, who is still young with a reasonable contract. It would really leave us hurting at small forward, maybe they could turn Rudy into something or I think Mike Miller is a free agent isn't he?
