how do i find/load new fonts/filters into gimp

To install a font, you first download it, copy and paste the font file here.

My Computer -> Local Disk -> Windows -> Fonts

Open up gimp, and it should be in the list of fonts.

I am not sure how you install filters. You might have to look in the GIMP folder and see. I know for Photoshop its under the folder called "Presets". Gimp might have something similar.

Look through the GIMP folder and see if you can find them. I don't have GIMP so I can't tell you where exactly it is.
