I've never understood their thinking by driving us away. Basel seemed somewhat rational, but with spaz's like Cinco de Mayo running wild as mods, that place was set up for failure. Rarely here do mods overreact, and when they do, the admins have the ability to correct the overreaction.

No problem, ABM. I get a lot of personal attacks directed at me on the main Blazer forum. Getting it from you surprised me, but I realize you were kidding, as I should have known at the time.

All we can do is cater to every poster we can. As you pointed out, "It's not the hosting site that makes the forum, it's the poster who participate there."

I wouldn't worry about S2 getting sold, we're not for sale and we won't sell out.

Yep, I never even saw the thread that led to the original blow-up (I never frequented the OT forum). It was Cinco de Mayo's behavior (personal attacks, name calling, trolling and baiting in the main Blazers forum) in the aftermath that drove me away. When the moderators think they are above the very rules that they are supposed to enforce, it's time to move on and leave the little dictators to rule over their silent kingdom.

haha. Totally agree. I nearly plunked down my $20 over there just for a custom avatar. And when I came here, and also realizing that seemingly 99 percent of the message boards on the internet, lets you have a custom one.. it was easy to move here.
