not according to your wife!
You'd best be careful, sir. Remember, he knows you're currently on the road.

That wasn't the "real" case, though. It was clearly a case of heavy-handedness and arrogance on some of the mods' parts.
Dan/Hap's meltdown started it all.
I swear that's the only internet site I've ever seen that deliberately drives away users - and then celebrates it like it's some sort of victory.
BNM
I've never understood their thinking by driving us away. Basel seemed somewhat rational, but with spaz's like Cinco de Mayo running wild as mods, that place was set up for failure. Rarely here do mods overreact, and when they do, the admins have the ability to correct the overreaction.
(OK, not really, but you know what I mean...)Hey, by the way, sorry for getting you ticked off at me the other night. I love you like a brother, man.(OK, not really, but you know what I mean...)

They thought they were running the asylum.
They were wrong. It was the inmates.![]()

My view is we have nothing to fear. Either we're good enough or we're not.
All we can do is cater to every poster we can. As you pointed out, "It's not the hosting site that makes the forum, it's the poster who participate there."
I wouldn't worry about S2 getting sold, we're not for sale and we won't sell out.

Please don't start any forum wars, though. I simply posted this thread just to remind us all what we were glad to leave.
Were you not over there with us?

Whoa, Oregonlive after a loss is better than that place.

ABM brings the gasoline, matches and beer and then says "Don't start a fire". Thanks Glenn, I know your just "typing" right?![]()
Yep! That's our ABM!
