While I think San Francisco will improve as their young talent matures and develops, I think Tampa Bay will be a lot better this year than they were last season. Cadillac Williams was hampered by injuries last season which hopefully won't be a problem this year. We lacked an experienced quarterback last season (I mean, how many games do you expect to win when your starter is Bruce Gradkowski?

). We filled that hole by signing Jeff Gaycia whose homosexuality doesn't affect his throwing, luckily. Also, we drafted Gaines Adams who will be able to make an impact right away and adds some youth to our veteran filled defense. Just my opinions.

Sasha, do you read Get Fuzzy? Darby Conley has been attacking PETA quite a bit over the last few months. He brought some of the situations into a main story with his characters.

I love Get Fuzzy.

F**kin' hell. I always was turned off by the way PETA was so obnoxious, insensitive, unrealistic, etc., but I had no idea it was this friggin' ridiculous. Thanks for that link, man.

Dude, I'm totally down with PETA. I have no clue what their stances on a lot of things are, nor do I care. All I know is that chicks love that ****.

Yeah, Jeff Garcia is really out of his league, but you know that she'll probably never really love him. I don't know his story or her story, but that's usually the case in a relationship like that.

Models don't make that much money. I read this thing in Forbes a while ago that had the top 15 earning models, and once you got down to #15, you were only talking about a million a year.

Actually, here's the link. I actually don't find a lot of them attractive, especially the first two, but Alessandra Ambrosio looks beautiful from that pic (never seen any other pics of her though). Heidi Klum is hot too, but Gisele Bundchen, the top earning model, is kinda a butterface.

Anyway, point is, she's not on that list, so she makes under $1 million a year for sure, maybe she's even borderline six figures, and Jeff Garcia has a networth of about $31 million, so the big money for a lot of models is still in marrying guys like him.

Excellent, I'm purchasing another season to my collection on Tuesday when sales hit the stores. I also can't wait for the new episodes/movies in 2008!

One of my favorite moments is from the first season. Probably not exact, but I'm sure you'll remember it anyway:

Leela: Hey don't forget we have a crate to deliver. I don't want my first mission to be a failure.
Fry: Aww, can't we just dump it down the sewer and say we delivered it?
Bender: Too much work, let's burn it and say we dumped it down the sewer.
Leela: If you guys are done being stupid ..
Fry: Oh I had more, but go ahead.

Yeah Project Playlist is pretty nice..I got it on mine..bout to bump It Was a Good Day right now.
 
It also had one of the smartest jokes I've ever heard on a cartoon before:

80's Guy: I was the king back in the 1980's. I was having whisky with Boesky and cookies with Milken.

I had to look it up to really appreciate it.


EDIT: That whole episode was awesome. I think it might be my favourite (along with the one where they get stuck on the Giant Amazonian's planet).

Agreed on Futurama. I'm a huge fan, so I'd probably type a lot of stuff on it, but I'm on my laptop, and I type slow as hell on this thing.

It's got the Simpsons type of humor though (same writers, all Ivy League grads and pro comedians), and it's surrealistically trippy at times (ie: the episode with the boxes that contained alternate universes, the episode where Leela goes into a coma, etc.).

This is the saddest things I've ever seen in an animated comedy too -

It's a playlist that everyone still clicks the pause button on when they go to your page. I find that so laughable. That's the first thing people do on someone's MySpace. It's like, "I don't want to listen to your crappy music tastes, I just want to look at your pictures in those new booty shorts you have on."

Is that just me?

No, that's me too, sans the whole booty shorts comment.

The worst are people who put country music on there (everyone I know from high school) and the white people who put obnoxious rap songs on there (everyone I know from UM). For those two reasons alone, I browse MySpace with my speakers off.
