And there's usually no way you can convince other people that he'll be good, because you don't have a totally rational reason for believing that in the first place? I'm that way with Andrea Bargnani. I support him a lot and I feel really strongly that he's going to be a legit player down the road, but its virtually impossible to get other people to understand why I think that way. It's kind of a weird feeling.

The last couple players I've felt like that about were Eli Manning (who lived up to it) and Felix Potvin (who didn't, even though it wasn't entirely his fault).</div>

Have you ever heard of Shannon Brown?

I'm not gonna lie, this whole Hot Chick Draft thing is creepin' me out a bit.

On another note, just watched Mike Beasley's first draft video on ESPN, and that guy's got a lot more personality than D-Rose. I like how he gets a call from his Kansas State teammate from Minnesota after the lottery telling him he should go to the Wolves, and he says something to the extent of, "It's cold up there right now, right? That's not right! It's SUMMER!" Haha, I hope for his sake Minny doesn't trade for the #2, because he seemed pretty excited about Chicago and Miami.

If Stromile didn't get cocked all the time, he may be worth something. He just never gave a shit though. That's all on him.

Andrea sucks. LaMarcus FTW!

You're like the only Raptors fan I know who has faith in him. I just don't see it like you do. I find him to soft and he can have great moments, his best year won't be with SMitch. He needs some structure right now and he's not getting it. I wanted an NBA ready guy and Andrea is to inconsistent for me. And if he ever became great with the Raptors, I would support him for sure, but you won't see me going crazy for him.

The soft label is pretty unfair, IMO. He's the same dude that got KTFO by Alexander Johnson, losing 3 teeth, but still got up and hit those free throws. He manned up against Dwight Howard in the playoffs and wasn't afraid to try and shove him out of the paint (if the refs called off-the-ball contact fairly, he could've done a better job). When he's got his game going, he regularly talks shit to his opponents. Also he posterized Kobe (I wish I could find that picture again). He's not strong enough yet, but I don't think that makes him soft.

I am absolutely shocked to find out that Bill Maher dated Superhead.

Yeah...it's pretty surreal. Vh1 is doing a special on The Fabulous Life of Sugar Daddies (no judging!), and did a spot on him.

Wow, my fifteen year old sister acts above it. I guess someone's watching MTV though, because it seems to still be a ratings giant, and all those awful, mindless songs they play keep topping the charts.</div>

This ***** is getting real annoying with his post. First you act like you can speak for all southern people saying, "you'll never see Hispanic or Italians in the south", now you act like only girl that watch Real World should be 15 year old girl.

Speaking of 15 year old girls, that's majority of the dude in you sigs fanbase.

So your not much better.

I haven't really watched the Real World in a long time. I usually tune in to the first couple of episodes to see if I'll like it, but this season seemed like it was going to suck (once again).

The hottest Real World cast member was Johanna though.

That's some lock-down rhetor right there.

Firsly, learn English, and stop typing like a retarded chimp.

Secondly, it's not an opinion but a fact that the deep south is almost all non-Italian/Jewish whites and blacks. Everything I posted supports that, whereas you're just talking out of your ass on the topic.

Thirdly, I really have no idea what the fuck this is supposed to mean - "now you act like only girl that watch Real World should be 15 year old girl." Seriously man, what's your deal? How long have you been speaking our language? I'd reply to that point of your post, but I'm not sure what the hell it means.

Lastly, you know who listens to Lil' Wayne? Everyone in the clubs and everyone at New Orleans. Lil' Wayne is not the most talented rapper, but he's a rapper I associate with my home, all the good times I've had this last year, and all of my friends in New Orleans. That's why I support him, not because I give a damn about the MTV portion of his fanbase or his actual rapping abilities. It's a nostalgia thing.

No you said there were no Hispanics in the south, and me and Dream both said theres a ton of Hispanic. IDK how it looks where you live, but down here at my school most of the people are black or Hispanic. You put out the 2000 consensus, when they don't even put into account the illegal people that live down here.

Yea everyone in the club listens to T-Pain to, so that should make it okay. How the **** does Lil wayne associate with anything New orleans? You need to go listen to Soulja Slim, Juvie, B.G that's what the real dudes listen to down here.

Don't put words in my mouth. First of all, my original post was in reference to Mississippi in particular. Secondly, I said in the deep south, which is different than the south. The south can mean Los Angeles. It can mean Florida. It can mean Texas. It can mean fucking Hawaii. So that's why I defined the borders of it, and since then I listed statistics to back up my point. These statistics, by the way, showed that Mississippi as a state was only 3% Hispanic and Italian combined. There's damn movies made about how the deep south is a two-race region for God's sake. I mean, just look at a flick like "My Cousin Vinnie," about two loud Italian kids in the south. It's something that popular culture evinces, something that the statistics evince, and something which my personal experience being raised in the deep south evinces.

Like pegs said... really? Just look at the damn quote in my signature. The guy references New Orleans all the time, and on the national scene, he is the most famous figure associated with the city at the moment.

I know who Slim, Juvie, B.G., Turk, etc. are. That's not exactly an underground scene. No one I know really listens to them though, so why should I support them? You don't understand the concept of nostalgia, and you're what, 16? So what would you know about my experiences with things like clubs, bars, and parties in uptown New Orleans anyway? All I hear at parties is Lil' Wayne. I go to a bar, it's Wayne. I go to a club, it's Wayne. Uptown is nothing but Wayne these days.

Whew. I guess that solves that. I was worried what "real dudes" listen too. Now I know.

Exactly. Plus, he was born in New Orleans.

That's like saying "How the fuck does Larry Bird associate with anything Indiana?". Really
