Just step back and look at it. Nash nothing, MSL nothing, Stepan pretty much nothing, Hayes pretty much nothing outside of an OT goal, Kreider has had great moments but also long stretches where he is invisible, McDonagh nothing, Yandle awful, Boyle many mistakes. On and on.

Outside of Brass and Hags who has played well in the playoffs, especially in this series.

I've tried my best to stay positive but this team simply doesn't score and you cannot win like this. Things naturally tighten up in the third and you end up lamenting all the blown chances in the first two periods. This has been nine playoff games with the same story.

That's the flip side of mentionig the Zucc injury, this is exactly what they did against the Pens for 4 games with him playing. They won that series because they were simply the much better team, but let's not act as if we were scoring and lost Zucc, and then boom.
