Why are you guys rating Bruno so high? You like looking at cock all the time?

Because it was hilarious despite the huge amount of penis shown in it. And I'm incredibly comfortable with my sexuality, so it didn't bother me anyways. I think my girlfriend was bothered by it moreso than me.

Ali G: In Da House -- Since all the talk about Bruno, I thought I'd watch one of Sasha Baren Cohen's classic to compare it to Bruno. One of the best comedies I've seen and it definitely worth a watch. If you guys haven't checked out Ali G's TV series (I believe it aired on BBC America for a while), do it immediately! You'll be laughing harder than Bruno and Borat combined. 9.5/10

Pirates of Silicon Valley -- Fucking weird movie. I don't really know if it was good or bad... It's basically a biography/movie about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs and how they created Microsoft and Apple. Really strange movie with a bunch of weird scenes. 4/10

Bruno - 7/10

Not as funny as some are making it out to be. Not as good as Borat, but it had its moments.

Public Enemies- 7/10. Good not great.

My Sister's Keeper- 4/10. I guess it keeps you interested but I really didn't think it was that sad (compared to other sad movies I've seen), I was never even welling up or anything. I fuggin hate Cameron Diaz and while she wasn't terrible in this she still wasn't good. The actress who plays the aunt is fuckin fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

Up- 4/10. Reminded myself why I don't see these computer animated movies. Had one or two parts I laughed at. Was surprisingly sad (being dead ass serious, my g/f cried more at this than My Sister's Keeper) at some parts. People I know are always telling me these movies aren't just kids movies but they just don't do it for me. Went to see it with my g/f's kid brother and niece though and I think they thought it was decent.

Been watching Entourage and Weeds non-stop this summer. Both are really good.

Monsters vs. Aliens -- 7/10 -- fresh and lively but not very funny compared to Pixar's efforts;
Kei tung bou deui: Tung pou (Tactical Unit: Comrades in Arms) -- 4/10 -- mediocre in every respect;
The Watchmen -- 8/10 -- visually fascinating but rambling, disjointed, and overproduced;
Torchwood: Children of Earth -- 5/10 -- unsatisfying science fiction defined.

Wow, I really disagree with you on this one. I thought it was unbearable.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire -- I don't know why, but I decided to see it for the first time. Terrible acting and some of the shit was just so corny. It has a good plot but that has nothing to do with the producer. 4/10 for the movie, 8/10 for the book.

The Haunting in Connecticut- 8/10

I usually don't rate horror flicks this high but this was based on a supposed true story and that just makes it that much more interesting to me. Good story and Kyle Gallner was absolutely great.

I've heard pretty good things about that Connecticut movie. I'll have to check it out.

I heard that this "supposed true story" actually turned out to be a hoax.

Rescue Dawn 8/10: Nice POW movie, good script and I liked the characters. Latter part of the movie seemed maybe not reflective enough but it was cool. Elton Brand helped produced this movie with his company, some random fact I learned later.

7 pounds....i know that a lot of people found it to be inspirational and touching or whatever, but I just thought it was a demented premise with a messed up and depressing ending....5 of 10....

Yeah I didn't like that movie either. Probably because I had no idea what it was about when I went to see it. Kinda fucked up he made love to that girl and then ended up killing himself. smh

:lol: Nice job ruining the movie, you douche.

But he gave her his heart...Dont that count for something?

Yeah but, he was gonna die for that. Why get all intimate with her and have sex with her and talk about having kids only to kill himself like a couple hours later.

That's fucked up brah.

That would be funny though if he killed himself to give her the heart. Then the woman got depressed because she loved him, and comitted suicide.

10/10. Both are spectacular. I can't believe how late I am.

6/10

The action was pretty fun. The twist at the end was cool, but at the same time confusing and undeveloped.

And I'm a big fan of Ryan Reynolds.

I thought this scene was cool.

Spoilers.

I agree with your rating on I Love You Man, 7/10 sounds about right. I was thinking about watching Clerks II, but I haven't seen the first one. Do you think it matters if I skip it? IIRC it was in black in white...looks too old.

Fired Up - 5/10. It was decent. I have been watching too many chick flicks lately. I need to take control of my Netflix queue, because I don't know wtf Weeds seasons 1-3 are.

You don't really have to watch Clerks. But I recommend that you do. It's awesome.

Trainspotting- 7.5/10. Go see it if you liked Requiem for a Dream, SLC Punk, and/or other trippy ass teenage/young adult druggie movies.

Marley & Me

1/10

Wanted to put a gun to my head.

Dirty Work -- 5/10 -- Norm MacDonald and Artie Lang are funny but this movie is not;
Lesbian Vampire Killers -- 7/10 -- not laugh out loud funny like Shawn of the Dead, which it is modeled after, but fun.

Hmm, I wouldn't class Trainspotting in that category. I thought it was much more mature and realistic than those other "teen trippy movies."
