East Bound and Down- fuckin amazing.

Probably the funniest TV show since Chappelle's Show. Can't wait for a new season.
Honey, I love you, you're a beautiful girl, but you dress like a fuckin' dickhead.

Book of Eli - 8.5/10

Mila Kunis is so damn sexy. I hated the ending regarding her though.

Dude, Where's My Car? -- 3/10

What is so special about this? Terrible acting, unfunny, and really annoying sound effects.

Beverly Hills Cop -- 7/10 -- I had seen it a few times before but just on television, hence it was gutted. I'm going to watch 48hrs again to compare. Despite the fact that it was a prime Eddie Murphy, the storyline and characters in the film are laughably asinine and the sequels were much worse. Thankfully Murphy was a big enough star to make the film a good watch.
48Hrs. -- 8/10 -- Definitely a better story than BHC, grittier, more realistic language. The film doesn't go beyond a flawed cop and a scumbag badguy, either. Too many movies have the bad guy being some Euro trash mastermind.

There is an interesting scene near the beginning. Two cops have been killed and rather than solemn silence in the department, the cops are in a joking mood. Which is to say it has the wrong tone entirely. However there is a very long shot during this sequence, a few minutes at least, with busy action, people moving around, Nick Nolte crisscrossing the floor and eventually going into the captain's office for a chewing out. Kind of a cool scene and Nolte carries it easily. His chemistry with Murphy makes the film work despite it being kind of stupid.

Up In The Air - Loved the humor, Clooney was superb and I think the script was good. Great acting by Vera Farmiga also. Damn what a feeling could it be to reach 10,000,000 miles. ;D

Lol, I looked up the whole 10 million air miles fantasy after watching this movie, turns out you don't get any of those perks except certain services :(

Ghostbusters -- 10/10 -- the favourite movie of my childhood is still one of the best ever. Try having more fun watching another movie--you won't.

I'm scared and excited for the upcoming sequel.

I have lost all respect.

You were born in the 90s. You couldn't understand...

You couldn't be serious about not liking Ghostbusters.

Hannibal - 8/10

First movie to ever give me a nightmare. Holy shit I slept horrible last night, every time I turned a corner in my dream, I saw Hannibal.

The Aviator - 9/10

Wow. Can't believe I waited so long to see that movie. That might be the performance that puts DiCaprio on my permanent like list. Before seeing that, I was so iffy about him. He was absolutely incredible in that.

And Kate Beckinsale is so gorgeous.

I absolutely love this series and consider Silence of the Lambs a top 3 movie of all time (with Donnie Darko and The Dark Knight as the other two), but this is, in my book, by far the weakest of the first three that were made. Silence runs circles around it and Red Dragon was also far better. Not that it's a bad movie, but I love this series and would probably only give this one a 6/10 because it's just so weak compared to those other two.

Love Silence, still haven't seen Red Dragon. I'll check that out, next.

Interesting personal top 3. I'd rank those movies as top 10, dunno if I'd put them in my top 3 though.

You should definitely check out Red Dragon. Edward Norton is f'n brilliant in it, as is Anthony Hopkins. It's definitely a worthy prequel to Silence.

Did you ever see Hannibal Rising? I've heard nothing but bad things about it, so I've avoided it, thinking it could potentially ruin the series for me.

As for the top 3...those are really the only no-brainers I even have in my top 10. Figuring out 4-10 would be a pain in the ass for me.

I hated Hannibal rising. Stay away from it. It will ruin the series.

I just ordered a used copy of Red Dragon off of Amazon for $3.60 I should see it within the next week.

That's what I was afraid of. I will stay away from it as long as possible, maybe check it one of these days when I have nothing better to do (my brother has it so I can swipe it from him and not even waste money on a rental, lol).

And you should like Red Dragon, follows in the footsteps pretty nicely of Silence. Also one of the better prequels I've seen too. Lemme know what you think of it when you see it.

The Crazies -- 5/10 -- I saw the trailer for the remake and decided to see the original. It is like a zombie movie (no surprise it is directed by Romero) except without the good stuff.

Dances with Wolves -- 9/10 -- hard to make an epic movie without it being over the top. DWW is a classic for that reason.

Black Dynamite -- 7/10 -- pretty funny, fast paced, lean, and retro.
