Difference between 1.25 Diopters and 1.25 Magnification ?
New to this whole thing and google isn’t really helping.

No clue. I've had glasses since kindergarten. They definitely help me. I'd go to an optometrist if I were you.

Already been and I’ve been using 1.25 magnification now for 2 years. Work great. Just found some pairs I want and they used the term 1.25 diopters. Hadn’t heard of that.

Maybe call your doc and ask them?

A diopter is a unit of refractive power used to find the magnification. A 1.25 diopter equals out to 1.31 magnification. A 1.25 magnification would have a 1.03 diopter.

Yeah started during Covid lockdown. Couldn’t figure out why my iPhone wouldn’t focus when I’d try to take pics. Considering I work in front of a wall of monitors day in and day out….. thought this would have happened sooner.
My far vision is better than 20/20 they said just need .75 to 1.00 magnification.
