Ready to be disappointed... again

I mean outside of pick 15, what about the other two are worth getting excited for? Everybody likes to bring in the late round superstars in the league but those are rare. Houston is involved every year in discussions and they have had a good team year after year. Last summer was such a failure, the only good thing to come out of last season is nurk. Overpayed for turner and crabbes contract is disgusting. Paid Meyers more. To me this is more like a redeem yourself moment. Dame wants pg, cj does. I get it, it's short term, at least let me find out you were aggressive in talks, let me know we are trying to win now because overpaying turner, crabbe, keeping Meyers. That's not much of a winning thing to do.

And all this talk of assets from Neil. Do something with it, don't be Danny ainge

What disappoints me... Not a single "Hold on to your shorts" post. The ruckus in here just isn't complete without some shorts holding.

Why are you disappointed? This is literally how it always plays out with NO. No leaks ever. You saw that Kim Hughes got fired for that right?

Like that point guard we drafted a few years back who missed most of his junior year because of a broken foot, or the one we drafted that next year who had missed most of his senior season with the same injury. Those guys were total busts.

Great post.

A good draft day to me might just be trading 20/26 and some mathcing player salery for Anthony to NY
using 15 as BPA {dont think I want to use this for Anthony)
and 26/20 to draft a big

AND trust the billionair and his GM to decide well (who am I anyway)

Let's just juice it up in the rumor mill here....I'm tempted to start a thread about us bringing back Lamarcus, Wes, Nico, Rolo, Patty Mills, Channing Frye and Steve Blake, Tim Frazier and Luke Babbitt for all our draft picks and we keep Nurk, Dame and CJ!

The HCP will be in the NYC from tomorrow till Sunday for work. He will be attending the draft as a Blazer fan. He will be bringing some of the Latin Mojo he is known for! He sees good things on the horizon for our team! #FAMS

So credit if it goes well and endless blame if it doesn't.

I'll be at your house helping your wife remodel.

Wait....what??? Speaking of, the mexicans are over right now ripping out the 100 year old furnace chimney. WHAT A MESS!
How can you be in two places at one time?

There's really only one way to function as a fan in the modern NBA without stress, without pain, without suffering:

Did anyone listen and has a breakdown?

Arnovitz didn't think it likely because of the 'pragmatist' attitude of the Blazer front office. He did advocate talking to PG's agent and determining if the chances were better than 42% (3 out of 7) and then he would take the chance. Any lower than that and he would say be very hesitant. He didn't comment on what he thought a year with Dame/CJ/Nurk would do to increase that percentage.

@Mote .... there just isn't anything concrete enough this year for any 'shorts holding'. Some rumors here and there from some solid sources but nothing substantial and nothing I can confirm with another source. It seems like they are trying and no one thinks too highly of Portland's players that are being offered.
