That explains drafting all the honkeys.Rumor has it that Olshey wants to rename the team the Kirkland, Kelso, Klamath Blazers.
I guess I'd forgotten that already, so I looked it up: Chad Ford: "What are the Cleveland Cavaliers seeking in exchange for the No. 1 pick? Sources say they reached out to the Portland Trail Blazers in an attempt to land LaMarcus Aldridge for the Nos. 1 and 19 picks. The Blazers quickly rebuffed them."
That could explain our trio of white towers.Rumor has it that Olshey wants to rename the team the Kirkland, Kelso, Klamath Blazers.

My sauces say there's on offer to move the team south. They're offering Paul 1.4 billion empty Coors Light cans.
How'd you miss the chance to work "bong" into the Centralia one? "Centralia SuperBlazingBongics?" or somethingSeaport Blazing Sonics

lol I just saw I wrote this in the wrong threadI think we should rest Dame for the next two games, assuming hes ready to play
were playing bad ATL & CHI teams, were 2-1 without Dame, so theres no need to run him back
we need him fully healthy and hungry, his absence its good for Napier too, which means its good for the Blazers
Part of the problem is with you, Boss. You should have had your finger on the pulse of this team from the get-go 3 years ago when the team lost 4 of its 5 starters. Now we have contracts we can't move, mediocre role players who weren't supposed to be here long-term, no cap space to use, and a GM who doesn't give a shit.
I've never seen a guy with so much money have so little success in sports franchises. I don't understand how he could build a reasonably successful team and FO in Seattle with his football team, but completely whiff on his Portland basketball team. I just don't get that.
I think with his old age and philanthropy, he's just lost interest in sports. He's more interested in his plane collection and $750 Million art collection than he is about winning games. There's no way how any of us can not see that he's completely out of touch with his basketball team and where the NBA is today, and in fact, probably losing touch with his football team as well, judging by what I'm seeing about the Seahags.
I mean, really Paul? You need to launch an investigation into why your basketball team is failing? Really? Are you THAT out of touch with this shit?
It's nice that he's finally taking an interest in this NOW, but he should have been on the ball when things were looking dire 3 years ago. Get with the times, Paul.
You familiar with Stan Kroenke? You want to talk about guy who doesn't give s shit whether his teams win or lose....
nah....he wouldn't try to fix something beyond repair...we're really lucky to have him behind the checkbook..I think he's weighing his options but for a guy like him there's no rushI didn't say he didn't care. I said Allen had lost interest. Olshey is the one who doesn't care.
Allen clearly DOES care. He's just out of touch with things, which he shouldn't be.

I think you misunderstood my post....I think he's always lookin' ahead..my point is he isn't ignoring the state of the Blazers in my viewI respectfully disagree. I think that would be a sign of laziness. And what little I've seen of Allen, "Lazy" doesn't fit into that description of him.

Allen has to own up to the current state of the team. He is the owner and he signs the checks. Changes need to be made.

this belongs in the oxymoron thread!Perhaps a special "Canzano Rumor",
@SlyPokerDog
This is why we need more subtitles for threads. "Rumor" doesn't cover it. Perhaps a special "Canzano Rumor", or
allow multiple titles so we can use "Zombie Rumor"![]()

Replace NO and Stotts with Trajan Langdon and Ime Udoka.
