Pok Pok over on Division might be the best restaurant in Portland as far as being great food and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Another great one is Toro Bravo. Bomb diggity!

you're speaking my language now. two of my favorites in town.

Pok Pok has this grilled shrimp dish which is just insanely good, along with their usual wings and that condensed milk iced cream.

this is the shrimp dish...holy hell that sauce on the side was good as FUCK.

Everything at Pok Pok is delicious. I order to go during lunch atleast twice a week as its right on my route. Next time you're in town check out Po Shines over in Kenton. Bomb diggity southern food.

nice. i need to make it to that hipster brunch soul food place too.

and pine state biscuits is the bomb too!

steak bites at the acropolis are to die for (does the "to die for" hand motions)! :MARIS61:

Love Screen Door over on Burnside. Fire on the Mountain on 57th and Fremont is bomb too! Married with 2 kids cuts down on hitting up the restaurants...... You guys should try out my brothers restaurant on 46th and Fremont! The Red Fig! Not fancy, but real good grub!

I was going to peep fire on the mountain last time no time though. I'll peep the red fig sometime

There is this hole in the wall Mexican place called La Serineta on Alberta and like 30th or so........BOMB! Cheap as hell and no white table cloths there!

Good friends with us also own a place called ?Por Que No? over on Mississippi and Hawthorne as well. Off the hook!

Ringside Steakhouse on Burnside is my favorite restaurant. I just had dinner there last night. It ain't cheap though!

You know the owners? That place is a family favorite. We were actually talking about asking if they would cater our wedding.

I would add The Observatory to the list of reasonably priced, good food.

FIFY. ;)

Por Que No is probably my favorite mexican restaurant ever. One thing HCP has gotten right besides working for the Blazers.

e:I'm a moron and thought you edited a different post. I'm sorry ABM.

This place is bomb. My bro and I like this as well as La Serineta. La Serineta also let's us bring in our own beverages, which is always cool.

Brian Steelman is the owner. His wife grew up with my wife. Good food and good people!

I know a lot of Bay Area folks are here. Any recommendations for a destination lunch spot in SF, something uniquely SF. something like the swan oyster depot, famous spot that's worth travelling for.

Right across from our hotel on Market in SF is a Subway that has Pastrami sandwiches! BombDiggity!

I had subway for breakfast. $3.00 for a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwhich on flatbread and a coffee...best fucking deal ever!

Anyone that thinks Subway isn't the best chain restaurant is wrong

Had lunch at Casa del Matador on E. Burnside today. Nice and spicy.

Had appetizers of bacon-wrapped hot jalapenos for a starter, and a massive burrito, enchilada-style, for the meal.

Legends . . . they emailed me, they now get the Blazer games (you think sports bar?) and are running a bacon cheeseburger special for $5 during Blazer games. Haven't had it but hear it is out of this world. :)
