Rip City Remix, 2025-6 season

how do you shoot 60% on FG's and 53% on three's, and still lose by 28, at home?

Once again my guy Romeo Weems led in +/- (+17) with apparently very underwhelming stats. And Portland Native Cam Parker had double-digit assists (again). And the Remix beat a Lakers team with Timme and Bronny (hey, why isn't his every move being documented any more?)

Wah- they had a Remix game already today? Look at the opposition:

I guess they must really stress "D" amirite???
Anyway, Yang got 18, 10 and 4 (shot 8-11 and 1-1 from 3, zero blocks or steals, 3 TOs)
Rupert got 12 (5-15, 2-4), 14 (!) and 6, with 3 steals, 1 block and 6 TOs, but they were just the supporting cast for THE MIGHTY JAVONTE COOKE:
36 points (10-18, 7-13(!)) 5 rbs, 2 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 6 tos and a team-leading +11.

Oh, and my cult hero Romeo Weems was 3-3, 2-2 with 10 rbs.
Oh, and Dillon Jones went for 16, 3 and 10 assists, and 2-5 from 3.

Oh, and the good guys won 116-110, although it was tied at 108 with 35 seconds left!

You can watch it here. Already many people in China are editing all the Yang plays into his highlights reel.

What's with the wacky game-times? (Edit: is this that "Winter Showcase" deal? I see they played it in Orange County.) I just looked to see if there was a game tonight and it's already over?

Sounds like it was a good one - Ex Blazer Kevin Knox scored 31 for the Windy City Bulls, and multiple-Dunk-Champion Mac McClung scored 36, but the good guys still won by 2, led by everybody's fave 2-way player Javonte Cooke, with 33 and 10 boards
Dillon Jones had the best +/- but he's no longer getting triple doubles (although he was 1 assist, 2 steals and 3 blocks away from a 5 x 5). Local boy Cam "assist machine" Parker got 9 assists.

(A player on the WC Bulls has the best name ever: Wooga Poplar!)

I always remind myself that Mac Maclung kills it in the G league. He is useless on an NBA roster.

I think you go by who's doing well on a team that's doing well. And you look for particular talents. Is McClung shooting efficiently? Is his assist/TO ratio good? That kind of thing. I'm more drawn to the guys who are still trying to play some semblance of a team game instead of resorting to ratball (which is why I'm much more interested in Andrew Carr than Sean Pedulla).
