There was no way to keep bird rights on Aaron Baynes but you can attempt to re-sign him using exceptions or minimum contracts.

Marcus Smart and Jabari Bird are now restricted free agents and you can offer them contracts at any time or you can wait to see what other offers they get and decide to match.

Aaron Baynes, Shane Larkin, Greg Monroe, Jonathan Gibson, and Abdel Nader are now all unrestricted free agents.
