The Wizards have traded pick #9 to the Spurs for picks 19, 24, and a future 1st.

The San Antonio Spurs (@TorturedBlazerFan) are on the clock with pick #9.

I totally admit that's probably a few picks early, I think he could be Kawhi Leonard esque with Pops and his crew coaching him up though. Well, rounded skill set, excellent defender, raw but all the athletic tools are there. I had a suspicion he would go in the teens and was just trying to figure out how to get him before someone else did.

I did a similar type game in a Detroit Forum (that basically has no rules, lol) and Bazley went 35th.

Edit: This was earlier today so it's not like it wasn't recent or anything. I think the Blazer fans are single-handedly bumping up his value.

He wasn't on my radar much until all the posts in the official draft stuff and I started watching video's and was like this dude can play! Admittedly that wasn't "elite of the elite" competition.

Here is a discussion of that (which I didn't read ahead of time!); doesn't really answer it. But at #10 to get a tall point guard who might be the fastest guy in the draft with a lot of defensive potential, I felt it was best choice.
