Rip City Two 3 on 3 team

When I was in my early 20s I lived in this killer apartment on Hawthorne across the street from the Space Room. I'd go play hoops on Mt Tabor, 3-4 games to get my groove on, then went down to the courts at Laurelhurst park to war. Great games there. Then, if I still wanted game it was off to Irving park. DO NOT GO TO IRVING UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT TRUE CITY STREET BALL IS.

Hmmm thread worthy and event worthy???

A meet up for some hoops with s2 members!!!

I would be down. Ive got a solid three minutes a quarter i can give before i start huffing i think.

Would there be wnough interest to set up spme saturday s2 ball at locations around town? Really only need six for some 3 on 3 but to get 10 or more for a full court game would be awesome!!!

Maybe we could have two captains draft those who want to play and create two teams.
This could be alot of fun And help bring us blazer fanatics together a bir more.
We need something after the playoffs. Its obvious many are needing somethinn to take our minds off of the blazers options this summer. :)

Who would be down if dates work out?

Great idea, would be nice to have some bodies so that the squad can get some scrimmage practice.
 
My only concern about playing against people on this forum is will they get their feelings hurt?
Half of the posters on this forum get their feelings hurt if you don't take their word as gospel.
Can only imagine the emotional breakdown if they got scored on, or someone was too physical with them.

Haha. I didnt think about that. My real concern was if we dont have an emt on site for us swnior citizens and out of shape dreamers who have heart attacks on the court. Lol

I think those that show up will get along. People always seem to put away any of the forum drama during the get togethers.

I thought about that with the team too, but part of what we will have to get down is teamwork and chemistry to make sure we are all on the same page.

I would definitely be down for that. Saturday mornings are tough for me (except for July 28th!) but I could do that most Saturday late afternoons or early evenings.
