Very nice.

I got the news passed along to Mike Barrett. He should mention MGB's passing during tonight's broadcast.

Feel free to pass this along to Karla and any other friends/family.

Ah man I can't believe this. He was a great guy and I always enjoyed his posts. I won't ever be able to forget the picture in his sig with Roy.

RIP mgb

Sad news. I liked Michael. Great man, giving person. Gave me DVD's of old games years ago. He just liked technology!
Wishing Karla and family our condolences and sharing in your grief at this time.

Mgb was a person I admired. I knew he was ill but was somehow hoping he could live through many more years and maybe a few Blazer championships. I think I'll remember him sometimes, I will remember him fondly. God bless his soul.

Yeah. I sent him a tweet as well, and he said "Definitely" he would try to mention it.

Let's win one for MGB!

P.S. LOVE that this is stickied!

RIP mgb. Mrs. FromWA and I said hi at a couple of games. We both wish Karla the best right now. Also tweeted @Trailblazers

HCP also made sure to get the right peoples attention.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael several times over the years, and purchasing his seats many times. I always felt bad that he didn't get to attend more games in person (especially in the last two years with his illness). He was a great member of this board, and one of the biggest trailblazer fans I have ever met. His wife, Karla, is a very nice person as well as many on this board know - she was always willing to meet up to do a ticket exchange on those nights when Michael couldn't attend due to his extended illness. He will be missed.

Oh man, this is sad news. I didn't know him personally, but he seemed like a really pleasant person. R.I.P. MGB

Even though I didn't know him personally, we were connected as Blazer fans. He was a thoughtful contributor to this forum - one who I enjoyed reading. RIP bruddah - see you on the other side.

Prayers to his family. My father has a terminal disease and has very little time left. I know what they have gone through.

Very sorry to hear that about your dad. On the positive side you have some advanced knowledge, time to show love for each other now.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Loved his contributions throughout the years. He will be missed.

A gentle man. He'll take us far this season.

Very sad news. My wishes to his family and my thanks to him for what he did to make this community a better place.

Rest in piece, MGB.

Thanks ED! I know you and MGB had some heated exchanges but he really enjoyed debating with you.

Just noticed this. My condoloences to all of you who knew him and actually to the forum. I know he was a regular. Best wishes to his family and RIP MGB.

Didn't notice this until after I watched the replay. Instantly not annoyed about the loss anymore. RIP MGB.

It brings me great sadness to announce MGB (Michael Burke) passed away at 10:30 last night from Kidney failure. His wife Karla was with him along with his sister who made the drive from Boise and got to visit with him before he passed. For those of you on this board who knew him he was truly the "biggest" Blazer fan. He has been a friend of mine for 12 years and I will truly miss him.

So sad to see that, RIP MGB

I added him to the SportsTwo Hall of Famer User Group.
