Haha. I'm thinking of staying south at this point. At this point, I plan on going to New Orleans and staying in the city for a day. Then heading to Austin and spending a fun night there. I'll probably try to spend a night in New Mexico after that, but I'm thinking that will be a camping night. After this point I'm not sure. I might keep heading west to San Diego so I can spend a really stupid and amazing night in Tijuana. After that I know I want to stop by my grandfather's house in LA Habra Heights. He is 92 and this might be my last chance to see him. After that, I'll head north, and I can find my way from there. I know some great places in-between LA and Portland, including my parents house in Myrtle Creek OR.I can only get so erect...

Well, he is basically Jesus of all Bros.I'm actually rocking a FIERI shirt right now
Watch a shit ton of diners, drive ins, and dives and mark locations of the best places to eat on the route you wanna take.
Also, go to the Cincinnati zoo and pull your dick out in remembrance of Harambe.
That's the plan...hahaADELITAS IN TJ BRO
That sounds neat. I'm still debating between traveling north or south. But since my grandfather lives in the Los Angeles area and this might be my last chance to see him, I should probably stick to a southern route. I'm thinking about a Big Sur camping night on the way north in California.Great idea for a thread, Tang. I'm currently planning for a long road trip, starting next April. I've been looking for some offbeat, off the main highway stuff myself. I'm loving the ideas coming in. From word of of mouth and following up with some research, one place I'm planning to check out on my way to Memphis is Cape Girardeau Missouri and its flood wall. Not so much for the engineering and the wall's reason for existence (though that does impress me) but for the murals (on both sides) and the stories behind them. That's my kind of public art. Taking something you'd probably rather not look at and making it into something positive (other than that flood protection thing) and enjoyable....and it's free.

Sometimes you gotta spread that asshole out so everyone can experience it.A friend tried to cajole me into going on a road trip this weekend. I turned him down.
"But why?"
"Because I'll be the same asshole but just in a different place."![]()

Completely respect the Frank Zappa reference. Hot Rats, Waka/Jawaka, Sleep Dirt, and Apostrophe were all formative albums for me.Like Frank Zappa said, "spread out your aura over a wide area."
