Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni is very impressed with the athletic talent of guard Nate Robinson.

"I'm really surprised with him and how good he is," D'Antoni said of Robinson. "He can play a lot of systems, but I do think that the way we want to play an open court, that will benefit him as much or more than anybody.

"He's just -- he is athletic as can be. He's scary athletic, and fast."

Watch D'Antoni use him like he did with Barbosa, except that Nate most likely will be starting....good fantasy pickup maybe?

I fully expect Nate Robinson to have a big year under D'Antoni. As I mentioned in the breakout players thread, I think Robinson is going to have a huge year. He seems like the perfect fit in that system. He's quick, athletic, and a solid shooter, everything you need to really be in that system.

Yeah, he was supposed to be in Phoenix in 2006, but was traded to the Knicks.

Reports say he's been working on his game hard, so he should thrive under D'Antoni.

D'Antoni's offense is perfect for Robinson. The Knicks have the ability to be lightning quick this year.
