The Knicks won 2 of their last 3 games this past year and it cost them Towns. If there is a purpose, how is it moronic? The Knicks may have very well drafted the best player in the draft, but they had to settle for him. Like I said, I hope we win every game......until we don't. If we are at 20 wins with 2 games left and winning them means we have less of a chance for a better pick, then damn straight I hope we lose those games, because it potentially helps the franchise to do so. You need stars to win in this league, and we have 1. If you think there is another on this roster, then great, but f not, it's better to acquire assets to either trade for one or draft one...potentially
