Wait, is she doing that in an ironic "good for the goose" kinda thing, or does she actually think they should ban condoms??

Empathy is severely lacking with conservatives. "I got mine, fuck you"

Also, do they not do abortions at local PP locations around here? I drive by 2 of them on a semi regular basis and never once have I seen any protesters or other nutbars out there.

Will the RvW ruling whatever it is, be the single biggest issue going into midterms?

Republicans in Louisiana are advancing a state bill to classify abortion as homicide

This is interesting, there is no statute of limitations for homicide so you could have women arrested for having what was at the time a legal procedure.

Next, you'll see those states pass laws that felons can't vote.

So a woman has a miscarriage and loses her voting and gun rights.

That's where they'll all the sudden go "wait a second...is this a liberal agenda?"

There is no right to travel in Constitution. Yet it has always been assumed. People are prevented by finances or by disability from traveling, but except in a few cases of individuals under criminal indictment, there are no legal barriers for citizens to travel within the United States.
But by Alito logic, if not in Constitution it doesn't exist.
Travel bans for abortion could give radical right wing activists on court another democratic right to take away.

they want to ignore the 14th amendment.

Clarence Thomas spoke to a group of lawyers last weekend angry at women protesting the women are nothing but incubators decision. He said some people are "addicted" to getting the outcome they want and blow up when that doesn't happen.
So, Uncle Thomas, what about your wife actively trying to overthrow the result of a presidential election when she did not get the result she and you wanted?

...would love to hear conservatives view on this mindfuck of a situation where out one side of their face they are screaming about "medical freedoms" in regards to choosing not to get vaccinated vs. the other side of their face screaming that "medical freedom" does not apply to women here in regards to choosing to have an abortion :dunno:
Conservatives wonder the vice versa of that. They key thing leftists always ignore is the life of the baby. The baby is a separate entity.

You think giving states the right to ban baby murder is totalitarianism? Banning murder has been one of the basic laws since the dawn of civilization.

At the same time, leftists are in favor of lockdowns, censorship, property seizure, forced injections...

Even rbg said roe v wade was on shaky legal grounds. If you dont want it to be a states rights issue, pass an amemdment.

I have the constitutional right to murder whomever i want. Because i can do whatever i want with my body, my choice. And i don't want to hear any women chiming in on this.....

Except that that is also affecting someone else's body.

And no, it will not be seen as equivalent to abortion, because the unborn child is not considered to be a "person" in the eyes of the law (as was pointed out earlier in the thread, the 14th amendment specifically affords equal protection to those "born or naturalized" in the US, not those conceived but not yet born).

Funny how anti women try to pretend Ginsburg was on their side. Like racists pretending King was on their side.

Saying quiet part out loud. Counter protester, white male, yelled at women "not your body, not your choice, your body belongs to me".

Clearly that's different. It's when OTHER people are addicted to getting the outcome they want..

btw, that's rich...considering women have been getting the short end of the stick for centuries, and if people didn't blow up at getting what they didn't want, Clarence Thomas wouldn't A: get to vote B: be free C: marry a white woman D: be a judge on the SCOTUS and E: own property

hehe, "forced injections".

censorship? property seizure? have you not read US history??

I have read Ruth Bader Ginsburg's book, in which she talks extensively about Roe, abortion, and women's rights generally.

Susan Collins Calls Cops Over Sidewalk Chalk Message Asking Her to Support Abortion Rights

"Our thoughts are with Susan Collins, who called the police because there was chalk on the sidewalk near her house," one critic said mockingly. "We hope she is alright after enduring such a harrowing ordeal!"

Protesters wrote, “Susie, please, Mainers want WHPA —–> vote yes, clean up your mess” in chalk on the sidewalk outside Collins’ Bangor home, the Daily News reports based on a police report about the incident.

Seems pretty innocuous. It's a friendly note in chalk on a sidewalk. Better start a May 10th investigation and find these chalk-armed insurrectionists.
