Wife and I have two years of living expenses in savings now. Not counting 401k and such.

I expect most of these employees have cable tv and a 130 dollar a month plus cell phone bill.

Us...no cable and my phone is 40.

Wish our government would budget like we do. I'll budget like them and go buy a new Bentley.

Alex Jones and Roger Stone visited a gun range to prepare for civil war if Trump is removed from office

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Roger Stone, a conservative pundit who has advised President Donald Trump for decades, visited a shooting range to fire weapons in preparation for a civil war in the event Trump is removed from office.

The visit was documented in a nearly one-and-a-half-hour-long December 19 video posted to Jones’ YouTube channel with the title “Roger Stone Prepares For Civil War After Trump Is Removed From Office: LIVE AUTO GUNFIRE.”

Jones set up the video by explaining that when Stone “was recently asked by TMZ what happens if Trump is assassinated or overthrown, he said it would cause a civil war.”

Asked to spell out his comment to TMZ, Stone, who is a contributor to Jones’ Infowars website, said, “We do not advocate violence or foment violence, but if there is a coup d’etat, if there is an illegitimate unconstitutional effort to remove Donald Trump on trumped-up charges by a biased and partisan prosecutors (sic) or an illegitimate takedown by the 25th Amendment, there will be a civil war in this country.”

“The Trump constituency has been awakened and they will not be put to sleep,” added Stone. He then said that he was at the shooting range to practice self-defense for himself and his family, but also to “defend the Constitution” if it is necessary.

Jones and Stone then entered the shooting area and fired an array of semi-automatic and fully automatic firearms, including one equipped with a silencer. At one point, Stone violated a basic safety rule by putting his finger on the trigger of an Uzi submachine gun before he was ready to shoot, causing the instructor to repeatedly remind Stone to take his finger off the trigger before physically removing it. Stone also remarked that he couldn’t see where the safety was because of the glasses he was wearing. While firing the weapons, Stone and Jones joked about shooting “commie dogs” and making a “JFK throat shot,” and Jones joked that Stone is “our Rambo” to “take on the globalists.”

Nothing wrong with owning or firing guns.

Nothing wrong with doing coke or whatever the hell Roger was on.

But the possibility of drugs and guns is a concern for all involved.

Roger Stone was arrested without incident. No harm came to him, his family, or the FBI agents.

The raid and arrest was a success.

Hahahahahahahahaha!

Wow, Nixon from the grave is now going full Trump. "He was just the coffee boy!"

Oh, so it was an even bigger mistake than I thought. Now I know they should have arranged it for him to turn himself in.

A full swat team showing up before dawn doesn't diminish the risk of coked up Stone shooting AK 47s at everyone.

Maybe even pick the guy up when he leaves his house.

No! We gotta show that psycho who's really in charge.

Maybe they found the pee tape and I'm wrong. Doubt it.

I saw the raid on the news Friday morning and immediately thought it was overkill. I wondered if they thought they'd catch Putin in his spare bedroom.

Then I remembered. They had to sneak up on him with guns out...he's a wizard.

How many FBI raids have you watched where you immediately thought it was underkill? None, right?

Law enforcement prefers overkill whenever they can, and the FBI always can. It's nothing special about Roger.

barfo

Although I do agree the raid size was overkill as it almost always is, that has nothing to do do with the merits of the raid.

So far, Mueller has been tempered and fully able to back every claim with physical evidence. Until Mueller stumbles, I’ll assume Stone is fucked, guilty and will end up either in jail, flipping on Trump or both.

They actually did use more FBI agents in this predawn take down than the Navy used to take down Bin Laden. I don't think a serious person anywhere could possible
calculate the risk to be anywhere near on the same level. With CNN primed and ready on the scene, this was a public relations stunt to please and appease the mini minds that could care less about due process or how chicken shit the event. It is about justifying the special council and continuing with the back up plan B after losing
and election. It looks just like a Gestapo raid to me, I fear for my country surrounded by people that cannot see it for what it is. I am heavily out number by those in that miserable camp. Who in the hell at justice planned and authorized this display with CNN? I sure don't think they see themselves as part of the Executive branch of the government. So what are they in relation to our Constitution?

I think CNN probably made a wise guess about the pattern of previous indictments but the rest I agree with. I wouldn't be surprised if someone tipped them but it wasn't necessary.

Perhaps. But this show would go for nothing, unknown, unappreciated without CNN. The tip came from somewhere. No one else was that intuitive.
It was a complete show. The language they used is hilarious. A guy who went public telling us all he would possibly be indicted.

From an AP article....

In court papers, prosecutors wrote they had concerns that if Stone was tipped off to the indictment, it would increase the risk he would flee or destroy evidence.

Hilarious!!! One article I saw where he said he thought he might be indicted was June of last year. In that time he couldn't plan his escape and just didn't have the time to destroy the evidence.

No, I've heard that it's SOP for people facing charges such as his.
The FBI has their own set of rules for arresting people and nothing was changed in order to effect this arrest. Their rules pertaining to Stone's situation said he was to be arrested at night, guns drawn and handcuffs on.
Oh, wait a minute. I forgot, the FBI is part of the deep state and everyone knows they all have it in for Trump and his supporters.

If you had not arrested him at night, do you think he might have considered cleaning his hard drive? Also, wasn't this a multi raid? If you had gone at mid day, perhaps someone might have called someone else and told them to get rid of any evidence now.

Roger Stone is a huge clown and I’m glad he got arrested. But literally they could have sent in two cops and walked him out. Regardless, he’s a total cuntbag.

This is the first time Mueller has done this. Flynn supposedly was planning to kidnap someone but Stone lied.

They followed their standard operating procedure.

Mueller had nothing to do with how Stone was arrested. This was an FBI call.

So far he discredits himself, with no assistance required.

Stone says he will cooperate with Mueller

Normally they wouldn't even do that, for a white collar crime. They'd just call his lawyer and arrange a time and day for him to drive himself to the jail. That way he could arrange his affairs, like prepaying his utility bills and mowing his lawn down to the nub.

Stone says he will cooperate with Mueller
You say that because of this?

"You know, that’s a question I would have to –- I have to determine after my attorneys have some discussion," Stone told ABC News' Chief Anchor George Stephanopolous on “This Week” Sunday. "If there’s wrongdoing by other people in the campaign that I know about, which I know of none, but if there is I would certainly testify honestly. I’d also testify honestly about any other matter, including any communications with the president. It’s true that we spoke on the phone, but those communications are political in nature, they’re benign, and there is –- there is certainly no conspiracy with Russia. The president’s right, there is no Russia collusion."
