The Anthem, and prayer, are both very INDIVIDUALLY PRIVATE times. Your thoughts at these times are nobody's business but your own.

Nothing to do with the game, the team, the fans, the media.

Funny enough, but when a player needs to go to the bathroom during a game, announcers say the player is leaving for the locker room and it is later found out it was to go to the bathroom.

I think someone's pre-game ritual is interesting stuff and media worthy if done in public. But I get your point and where the media draws the line in reporting celebrity events has always been an issue . . . so I understand there are two sides to this.

Well, mission accomplished for Canzano. A little insinuation here, a little vague "just doesn't feel right" there, and he's brought out the worst imaginings by some portion of Blazer fans. I totally get the backstage moment of reflection, but this is easy pickings for a little shit-stirring among the holier-than-thou crowd. I wonder if he's been holding on to this, waiting until there was a Roy backlash, or if he just started looking for stuff like this after the backlash had already begun?

He's already written about this. I don't recall the exact article, but Canzano did mention this last season.
