Omfg. 18 million a year for ezeli? If that happened.....

Thinks getting him would make us even with the Jazz.

7 ft 275 lbs of big guy....just hope GS fixed his knee issues well first.

If they sign Ezeli i predict this for a contract - 2 or 3 yr contract for about 12 to 15m per yr

Crabbe met with the Nets yesterday, doesn't think he'll get as much as reported earlier.

Crabbe's lower cap hold is what will keep him over Moe to free up more money.

I just don't understand bringing in more border-line starters of comparable talent to those already on the team. Why?

The reasoning on the show is because he's what's left, he's 26 so he fits the age curve, per 36 (15/12/3) would be good if it translates, he was stuck behind Bogut and could be better with more time.

You trade Plums away for a pick, you open up even more room. As pointed out earlier, what other team can even throw 10 mil at Festus?

Ezeli bought a one way ticket to Portland... He's not talking to other teams, just has to clear up the knee thing. The fact the Blazers also have agreed to sign Layman to a 3 year deal is telling as well.

That's as high as I would go and I will repeat; "Teams that have significant capspace left already have their C's, so there is really not much competition IMO and Neil has to know this, I think/hope 10-13 mil per yr tops

Trade plumlee, especially since they won't pay him next year.

+1

With Turner and Ezeli we would have no need for Plumee (and, sadly, Ed Davis either assuming Lenoard is retained). I like the thought of mobile 4s who can defend (Aminu/Harkless) paired with real bigs that can sit in the post on defense (Ezeli/Leonard).

I would not trade Plumlee for a shitty pick though. He has too much value. A hell of lot more than what we paid to get him.

I also thought Parsons was a done deal. Not counting chickens again

Just pulled up this 2015 highlight reel of Ezeli and at the 7:45 mark the announcer is saying how GS coaches think Ezeli would start for other teams.

That's the best option.

I like Ezeli for the Blazers IF his knees check out but only if they check out cause i think he can platoon with Plumlee for 25 min a night give or take and be a 10 pt and 8 to 10 reb player -- ala Pryz

Did you use Meyers and post defense in the same sentence?
