That's not opinion, BTW.
That's fact.

People here that post act like they own the forum. They think the blazers are best team in the nba and can't except criticism! I'm not naming names cause then I get accused of baiting.

Interesting because I KNOW my blazers aren't the best team and I often criticize them myself, that said I KNOW I own this forum.
"If only more waffles came in a box." That's deep, my friend. Poetic, even.If only more waffles came in each box![]()
Everyone is exactly the same but happier, with a few notable exceptions
Not catching an ego thing though fez, examples?
I think there has been a little "Suck it, haterz!" directed at the traditional pessimists. I can see where someone could see it as a bit arrogant.
As one of the resident, so-called "pessimists" I don't mind. If people want to do the double-barreled "Fuck you" dance 15 games into the season I just assume it's 4 or 5 years of pent up frustration boiling over in a display of irrational exuberance.
As a realist I don't get too worked up by the highs and I usually don't get too down about the lows (Oden and Roy hurt though) so whatever this hot-streak translates into in April I have no idea, but for now I'm just glad the team is playing watchable ball and who knows maybe they've got another leap in them from "good" to "great" ... that will probably take a trade to get there, but at least their pieces are starting to look more attractive if Olshey decides he needs to add some missing ingredient.
As a realist, are we not 13-2?
The attitude began after the 9th-straight win -- perfectly summed up in a gif:

We're turning into a bunch of Mags.![]()
Yes they are 13-2. Do I expect them to win at an .800+ winning percentage the rest of the season? No.

Serious Question: What is "Rational Exuberance?"
As a realist, are we not 13-2?
What movie is this from?
Mr. Bean, I think.
And What do you call somebody that actually enjoys the lows to the fullest, and revels in the highs when they come around without fear of coming down?
I call him Mags.
I love the winning streak but maybe its just me but i'm getting damn tired of everytime anyone talks about the Blazers they have to bring up how "soft" our schedule is before talking about anything important.
As a "soccer mom", I just am a fan of effort. All I really want to see is our team play to their potential. I've been down on this team before, I know it hasn't been many time, but it was because we lacked effort and drive. This year's team is much different. The "never say die" attitude is what excites me!
