They should come up with an original name and this wouldn't be a problem. I've got it...StarbucksN.J. restaurant harassed after Va. eatery with same name boots Sarah Huckabee Sanders
At The Red Hen restaurant in Swedesboro Saturday morning, staff was preparing for a private event when Operating Manager Elizabeth Pope noticed something strange on the restaurant's Facebook page: tons of angry comments and reviews.
"It was off the chart," she said. "Then the hostess comes to me and says, 'people are calling and yelling and swearing.'"

Some people are intrinsically assholes. Like me. You can be who you were born to be but not me? My mom has a Sears portrait from my infancy and I'm glaring at the camera like Carrie on prom night.Every time some bigot refuses service to a gay person because Jesus said to, we are asked the same old tiresome question, should a Jewish baker be forced to make a cake for nazis? And have explained a wearisome number of times the difference between who a person intrinsically is (gay) and how the person behaves (nazi). This is a prime example, and hilariously all those who just loved it when Jesus told bigots to refuse service to gays are up in arms over po' l'il Sarah. Sanders did not just work for Trump, she was the voice of his regime. She faithfully repeated every lie, doubled down when challenged, defended every evil action and said it was mandated by god.
As Anthony King succinctly put it, Sarah Huckabee Sanders were judged not by the color of her skin but by the content of her character.

My wife and I are absolutely bamboozled about the false issue that gay marriages hurt straight marriages. We believe with all our hearts and souls that it has no effect on us whatsoever, unless making an awful lot of people very happy makes the world a worse place. I would assume that baking a wedding cake for a gay marriage would be beneficial to the pocketbook while not affecting the baker at all, unless the baker were filled with such disdain for gays that he felt he had to hurt them in his own small way.I would argue that the judgement makes sense if it is "harming" other people. I do not see why someone should be excluded because of who they fancy, but I can certainly see why someone should be excluded because they are a menace to others.
Going back to the original issue - I personally would not have refused service to her - because I doubt her lies and moral ineptitude are directly harming the business (unless there was a clear impact on business because she was eating there) - but your argument above is not an equivalence that is justified, imho.
In other words, being an asshole affects others directly, being gay, does not really. If someone is confrontational and abusive in a business setting - there is a clear reason to refuse him/her service. If someone fancies humping Sly because his tail goes up - who cares... (just my $0.02). (Obviously, if someone decides to hump any stray during business hour on premises, he crosses from category 2 to category 1...
My beliefs are here for all to see. Many of them are going to be what they are because of the way I'm wired. My lack of empathy in manu cases we've discussed isn't a choice. I could more easily pretend to be religious.I would argue that the judgement makes sense if it is "harming" other people. I do not see why someone should be excluded because of who they fancy, but I can certainly see why someone should be excluded because they are a menace to others.

Back to my being an asshole. It is every bit as intrinsic as crandc's sexuality. You don't get raised by women as I did and turn out the way I did unless it is my predisposition.
Words are my tools. I try to use them wisely. This is kind of cool. That's a legitimate use of the word bamboozled, but one I'd never heard anyone use before. I'd only heard the other meaning (conned, cheated).

In Black Mirror they get to a point where everyone knows everyone and people rate each interaction. It is quite fascinating and pretty damn close to becoming reality.Having lack of empathy is one thing, being abusive to others is another. I equate being an asshole with the first, not the second.
he walked the decks of a ship, I suppose, all safe and sound.
yeah....my sister in law is from Pingtung...they make Kaoliang wine there ...the worst horsepiss you've ever tried to drink...not a big fan of that part of Taiwan....the Southwest has bad air quality and factories spewing crap in the air.....I lived in Kaoshiung for about half a year...didn't enjoy the place.

You're gay and you stalk? Holy cow.In Black Mirror they get to a point where everyone knows everyone and people rate each interaction. It is quite fascinating and pretty damn close to becoming reality.
In that future, I have to pretend I'm nice so I can fit in. Just like a gay person seemed to have to pretend to be straight in the past.
If SHS believed in everything Trump said should she be an outcast?
Someone link Maxine Waters calling for people to stalk people from Trump's administration. It is getting insane.
Does that mean you have small hands?.
I'll show you a.....nevermind.
I knew you were joking. Just to be clear, my hands dwarf Trump's.Does that mean you have small hands?
Edit: Whoops, I just realized you could take this the wrong way. I meant it in humor, just to be clear.

That's the hardest-working AFEM I've ever seen. Please tell me the gig coxswain got something with a "V" on it for willingly going into gunfire to save a dude, knowing he's getting shot up.Lanny's post about @DaLincolnJones, safe and sound made me cringe, thinking of one of the ships of that era. I don't think you and I are speaking of the same Kinmen County.
The one I am speaking of is across the strait from Taiwan, within gun range of China on three side. I am familiar with one ship that circled that island drawing fire so the supply ships could get in.
"From August 23 to October 6, 1958, Communist-held islands which surround Quemoy on three sides began an artillery bombardment which averaged 10,000 rounds a day."
She survived it to move on to Vietnam and more. But that same day at that island, it was known as Quemoy then, the decoy ship managed to get out of range, but damn! One of the CAP
was down, pilot in the sea. Geez, back in the shit within range of all those guns? The Captain sent the Gig after him rather than risk the ship again. It Worked! lost the gig but got the pilot.
It took a couple days to get out of the shit, and finally a ride in a ROC patrol boat, but they got back.

That ship was a Gearing class Destroyer, she later served in Vietnam, with a new crew of course, but by this time she was a well tuned gun boat. Mounting six 5" 38 rifles that could lay down deadly accurate fire, even out gunning later model destroyers. She was retired from the US Navy in 1972, after her last cruise to Vietnam where she fired 12000 rounds from her 5" guns, providing fires support to the people ashore. By this time she was known as "Last of the Six Shooters" being kept for that specific purpose, deadly accurate fire.
She served 27 years in the US Navy, but she was not done yet. The South Korean navy had their eye on this ship, they bought her immediately. She served there another 27 years, in the many battles with the North over the years. She was still on active duty in that Navy when I went to the 1988 Olympics as the helper for one of my guys that authored the Olympic scoring system.
Sort of gimmick on my part, but I did have some hope of doing productive business with the major South Korean Banks. But to be honest, my first order of business was watching Sabas play basketball. At that point, after seeing him play in Europe, I thought he was the best basketball player in the world.
But back to the ship, one thing lead to another in my dealings with the Banks and the Korean Banking system, that the famous ship and joint exercises came up, anyway I got to go aboard my old ship that I served on 30 years earlier. Meet some of the crew and talk about Fire Control, Shore fire Support and enjoy a beer. Yeah there was former Naval Officer and current manager at the bank in the group as well.
That Ship is now, since 1999 a memorial hall located at Jongdongnin Kangwondo, Korea. Only a few ships escape the cutting torch.
n0.... that's a Taiwanese military base ..my brother in laws and nephews have been stationed there......that Fujian Provence...Penghu island is what I was thinking about although I have been to Fujian twice in my travels..never to that island
young whippersnapper is a great one as well as old codgerbe reminded of seldom used terms.
I love to either learn new words from others or be reminded of seldom used terms.
Dadgummit...that's a humdinger! When my grandpa was alive he would often use the word, "Cockamamie."
I was thinking about the same thing. Not a joke.I'm seriously thinking about just building a shack somewhere in the wilderness and just peacing out on society. Not a joke.
It almost seems like you don't want to see the difference between the two.
Twitter is rotting what brain cells people have left.
