Tex is on fire. Two run shot and it's 2-0.

You'll notice that Ellbury is not in there, On May 3rd he was hitting 346. Over his last 11 games he's 5 for his last 41 with only 1 XBH & no RBI. while seeing his average drop to a season low of 284

Tex is showing some resurgence. His career numbers were on a 3-4 year slide.

Jacoby's not hurt is he? Hopefully he's just in a funk....if not hurt, I'm sure he will snap out of it, (if that's the case), with a BANG.

Good to see Tex silence his doubters. His HR in Milwaukee, we could all see that one coming. With the game on the line, one could tell he only had one thing on his mind, wave off the breaking balls, sit on the fastball, and with his swing, before he made contact, that one looked going gone, before he even hit the ball.

Re-surgence is a thing of beauty.

has anyone picked up the latest ESPN Magazine, with Mashiro Tanaka sahn, on the cover, and cover story?

Just got it out of the mail, haven't had a chance to read it yet...looks good. Pass the Siracha please....!

It really doesn't appear that Phelps is long for this game. Over 60 pitches already & only through 3.

Phelps pitch count issues remind you of anyone?

They displayed a graphic on MLB today, seems like Solartes RBI total through 41 games as a Yankee Rookie compares to some guy named Mantle back in '51! I like a team that blends youth and veteran punch, good to see Solarte, and Almonte get a shot and succeed.

Congrats to California Chrome winning the Preakness!

This team should be able to bop on a more consistent basis than it has shown. Surprised by some of the young folks contributions today, nice to see. Thought Jeter was really cool calling for that replay, he knew he had him. Phelps is one guy I've been pulling for but the man is scary. Oh well Yankees win and that's what counts.
