Incredible feeling of deja vu with this Scoot Injury. What it means to be a Blazers fan.

This should by no means be a cause for concern, but it's an undeniable feeling.

Yeah, it definitely feels like a "yeah, expected that" feeling.

Don’t worry. Scoot is going to be rookie of the year. He said so himself.

Yep not just that he’s out til who knows when but he was a big disappointment when he did play. I’m worried we blew a #3 pick. It happens all the time.

Why is this necessarily a bad thing (besides the fact that Scoot could be in some pain and frustrated). Once he gets back he is going to be very aggressive trying to get the ROY and he'll have learned from watching from the bench. Meanwhile Shaedon gets to continue to get a lot of usage and valuable experience, Jerami gets to keep posting numbers that should raise his trade value and when Malcolm gets back from his hammy he'll have plenty of time to shine and raise his trade value before Scoot gets back. Hell it even gives Tisse more minutes to keep showing how disruptive he is on defense and that he makes threes when open and finishes on the break... that should bring his trade value up as well.

After the trade deadline I think we'll be playing a lot of Scoot, Ant, Shaedon, Toumani, AD, Jabari, Mays and young players we get back in those trades... maybe minus Ant if someone blows us away with an offer for him. I think Shaedon will have set himself apart as a two way player and our go to guy on O. I think Scoot will be leading the team and all rookies in assists while getting after it on D. I think Ayton will be in the conversation for DPOY. I also think we'll be headed for one of the three worst records in the league.

Bright side sure but having Scoot actually playing gives him more than watching and in the end sitting does nothing for him as far as helping him win ROY? Right now this team has Simmons and Brogdon out as well. Having Scoot back would not stop Sharpe from getting touches. It actually would be more touches with Scoot which is what this team needs.

I really hope the SL injury and the first week of the regular season injury are just a coincidence. I absolutely hate having undependable injury prone players. Was he hurt a lot in the G League?

Yes. I'm envisioning a Chris Paul like career.

He missed time last year, yes.

I think Dame got hurt but he played through it a lot.

Scoot is having a horrid rookie year so far. Obviously he can still be good in the league but, drafting him and Murray isn't looking great right now.

Thank God we got Camara.
