Scoot injury

Are you talking about Scoot?

Scoot is the only Trail Blazer that has a clue how to throw a pass to Ayton.

The rest of the team it's just a lot of god awful passes.
His offense is historically bad though. His TS% is under 40%. It's worse than Nolan Smith, who is probably the crappiest guard in Blazer history.

Man I almost had an Aneurysm reading the ESPN "Henderson assigned to G-League" I was like OMFG what are they seeing at practice?!!??! Then I find out it was some conditioning thing and he was instantly recalled. Wow are they trying to causing cardiovascular injuries to the fan-base!??!?!?

That doesn't seem logical, because most g-league players CAME from division I colleges, so how can it be worse? They are more experienced as well.

The only way to know for sure would be to have them play each other.
It's usually rat ball. Very little structure, and everybody's trying to audition for a better paying gig.

In Houston, Amen Thompson hasn't even been cleared to practice. He injured his ankle the same day Scoot did.

Thompson (ankle) hasn't been cleared to resume practicing as of Tuesday and remains out indefinitely, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Thompson has been sidelined Nov. 1 with a Grade 2 right ankle sprain. He suffered an injury of the same grade to his left ankle during the Las Vegas Summer League that entailed a 2-to-4-week recovery, but Thompson looks as though he'll require a longer period of time to overcome his latest ankle sprain. At this stage, Thompson's absence looks as though it'll stretch into December, and a target date for his return to game action won't become clear until after he gets in at least a couple of practices under his belt.

I like scoot with the goggles. Maybe he needed glasses and thats why his shot was suspect.

maybe I'm reaching...a lot

but I'd wonder if the ankle sprain has the silver lining that the time off has allowed Scoot to re-gather himself and change his perspective a little. I'd like to see him come off the bench for a few more games

he needs to earn the starting role, in time he will

if earning the starting role is the standard, then by Christmas the starters could be Ant-Brogdon-Camara-Grant-Ayton

both Scoot and Sharpe have been mostly bad and have shot the ball like the basket is 14' off the floor

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he shot well tonight because he only played 31 minutes. They were running him into the ground. The fouling was a separate issue.

Is there a site to determine his shooting splits by quarter?

Do we know if these are prescription goggles? and was he wearing contact lenses before?

didn't sound like they were prescription but rather they were there to keep Scoot from touching his eyes with the contacts in....kind of like the plastic cones you wrap around a dog's neck to keep him from chewing on himself. Ask Sly about that but watch out for leg humping

maybe, but it was the 2nd of a back-2-back. And, he was going against the worst defensive team in the league

The players don't play to win, they play to get theirs, and showcase their skills.

College ball is much more structured.
I'd also add that yes most came from division 1 colleges many did not. The players that did didn't get drafted or have been picked up from later picks.
The good thing about the player going to the teams G league team is that they are working within the structure of the team they are playing for.

One thing that was ruled out, Marang said that Shaedon told him the thumb isn’t bothering him anymore. So his poor shooting can’t be attributed to his thumb.
