That draft was Wemby or nothing.Scoot so far was a swing and a miss for a 3rd pick in the draft. Caleb Love didn't even get drafted so proof once again that the draft is a crap shoot.
Amen Thompson is the Scoot most of this board seems to wantThis is the Scoot we want. Keep it up.
He's been on the road, stuck with @THE HCP for over a week now. That would take a toll on anyone.

He played very well esp in the first half. I feel it bothers him that he has to delegate some point guarding to Deni.2 good games in a row. That's a good start to hopefully showing he's worth the hassle.
Honestly I feel like at the end of the game it bothered Deni, too. Just a hunch (probably wrong as I’m sure HCP will tell me) that this tension came from the coaching staff. He played very well esp in the first half. I feel it bothers him that he has to delegate some point guarding to Deni.
wut?He played very well esp in the first half. I feel it bothers him that he has to delegate some point guarding to Deni.
wut?
well then, next season when the Blazers have Dame, Jrue, Sharpe, and Deni in the primary rotation Scoot will be ultra-bothered
Deni has established himself as the man on this team and the ball is going to be in his hands a lot going forward. That said, he won't be playing 48 minutes per game and teams with the best offenses usually have multiple playmakers like OKC with SGA and JWilliams. There is plenty of room for Scoot to thrive here but his best pathforward to doing that on offense is to be both a distributor and a scorer/shooter.He played very well esp in the first half. I feel it bothers him that he has to delegate some point guarding to Deni.
I want the core kids to work out so badly it hurtsI love the idea of Deni, Shae and Scoot playing together. If I'm not mistaken one of Scoot's threes last night was off a Deni assist. All three guys move well without the ball and if all three can make their open threes then Deni becomes really hard to double team.
Crazy how little they've played together.I want the core kids to work out so badly it hurts
