Seahawks 4-0 for the very first time....Can they keep it up?

Man, that was crazy. I watched until Seahawks were down 20 to 3, then ran an errand. Came back and they were back to 13-20, Houston had the ball with under 3 minutes to go. Then boom, huge interception by Sherman I think. Fun as hell, but this team still has some flaws that need fixing.

It was Sherman. Already 4-0 and you gotta figure they won't lose a home game, maybe one...they are legit and might get homefield advantage

Yeah. They can and should. A lil underwhelmed with Russell Wilson today. Granted he was facing a tough Houston D.

Good coverage on D by Houston and he was getting pressured so he used his feet nicely. I thought it was a good showing. Considering Mebane got hurt and no Okung I thought it was brilliant.

Good. I didn't watch. Ill take your word for it :)

They were starting 3 backups on the line against JJ Watt. :dunno: It's gonna make any offense look bad.

I agree, though, that they stole one.

Houston definitely should've won that game...Sherman's pick 6 was one of the bigger gifts I've ever witnessed.

Another interesting week coming up...the Seahawks travel to Indianapolis and the Texans go to SF.

What a game huh? This should have been an easy one for Seattle.

Losing.

Indy is tough, though. And as good as Seattle is, they're not as good away from home. Good thing for them is that they have a good chance at HFA in the playoffs.

Seattle isn't nearly as good away from home.

Which seriously makes me question how fair their HFA is. I was reading that the way the stadium is designed makes the fans much much louder. That's questionable in my opinion. Loud fans is one thing, but loud fans that are amplified by the design of the building is really no different than pumping in crowd noise through the speakers.

Hey, when you've never won anything, you start to feel like you gotta try anything and everything.

Starting to feel like that for the Blazers. Used to feel like that for the SF Giants (until they won 2 WS in 3 seasons).

He's entitled to bad games. And it maybe insane...but I still have reservations on Russell Wilson. He wasn't very good on that last drive.

I love the people that are questions Wilson, Kaepernick, Luck, etc. These guys are the future and they are on far more than they're off. They're well ahead of their peers and it's not really that close. I'm sure one is going to eventually falter and disappear. But by and large, they are the future. And they're good. Seahawks aren't 4-1 with most guys at QB. He's elevated that team. He's looked very mediocre at times, but I've never thought he's looked anything less than that/average, and he's usually more.

That's kind of a silly complaint in my opinion. So acoustics are now unfair? If Seattle can do it, so can everyone else.

That stadium is all Paul Allen. He wouldn't have it any other way. He wants a real home court advantage with both of his teams. If he could get by with it, he would add additional noise and accoustics in the Rose Garden.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who felt this way.

So what happens when they play on a neutral turf in a Super Bowl?

Which would make up for the fact that the 100 level is quiet as a tomb.

I have no questions about Luck. The other two. Yeah, there might be some apprehension. I think Carroll and Schneiders faith in their draft pick might be the single handed factor behind Wilson's success. Their belief in him and what he is has pushed and propelled him.

I've seen so many flashes of brilliance from Wilson and Kaep in their young careers, it's hard not to be in their corners. I'm not saying they're locks for stardom, but how people bet against them is beyond me.

Trick question, they won't be playing in the Super Bowl.

I think if they are going to do it, it will be up to their defense. But I think a healthy Percy Harvin will help. The best team in the NFC are the Saints. And they are going to be tough to stop in that conference.

Bingo. And Rob Ryan has something going with our defense. Something thats been lacking for a couple years with the Saints.

He was very good. But his schemes were big gambles and relied on big plays.

Wilson is still doing a great job with the talent he has at WR. Agree though that the Saints are the team to beat in the NFC.

Saints and Broncos in NYC would be a great game.

I think it might be too early to really anoint any team except for the Broncos. The Saints look good now and their schedule wasn't an easy one by any means, but they haven't had any great tests on the road until this week. Next week will be a new challenge @ NE. If they take care of business there too on the road, then I will start to believe they are the best team in the NFC. Looking at their schedule though Weeks 10-13 looks like a very tough stretch (DAL, SF, @ATL, @sea). If they can go 2-2 or 3-1 during that stretch, their schedule gets a little softer and they have a very good chance at 1st seed in the NFC.

Speaking of their division though, I am kind of surprised that Atlanta hasn't played better. They have been in every game though, so I kind of expect them to bounce back this month, but they are so far behind that the best they could probably do is a wild card. Still they are a team that you don't really want to face in the playoffs, especially if their RB and Roddy White are healthy. Other potential wild card teams that will be tough are SF/Seattle (who ever doesn't win the division), and after what I saw yesterday I would have to say Dallas.
