That’s pretty much it. I’m out. No way Scoot, Brogdon, Ayton, and Duop were unable to play.
The real question is, did the season ever really start?
green font? Don’t make me sad man. You are the most optimistic fan here. Don’t turn into a fair weather fan. It would make me sad.
Somewhere between unrealisticly optimistic and overly-dramatic would be a nice compromise.
The season was over before it started
Why should I root for a team that is trying to lose?green font? Don’t make me sad man. You are the most optimistic fan here. Don’t turn into a fair weather fan. It would make me sad.
Big picture buddy. I know its easy to get caught up in the nuances of individual games, but winning 30-35 games is not the best long term path for this season. I know you think we might still be able to make the playin , but id like to point out we also have one of the toughest schedules left in the nba, which will make that increasing difficult. Im finding the pleasure in other things. Watching the growth of the youngsters without win/loss being a real factor in my satisfaction and enjoymentWhy should I root for a team that is trying to lose?
The Spurs have a basketball genius guiding that thing. We have some talented youth. But that's about it.To me, this season has not been about wins and losses. In fact, if we play well, I root for a close loss. I want lottery ball combinations. That's how the Spurs are playing it. They see the big picture. It's the old Biblical idea of seven fat years and seven lean years. These are the lean years.
What I look for is individual player development and fit. You can just see all that Scoot can bring once he figures out his position (the hardest in the NBA). Murray is finally getting comfortable and looks like a nice piece. Camara is an elite defender and a real surprise. We've seen solid play from Reath and the potential of Badji.
I have actually enjoyed this year greatly.
Not a single person in here is asking you to, trust me.Why should I root for a team that is trying to lose?
Leaning your way, this continued sitting out so many guys sucks, in this draft the 4-5-6-7 spots frankly appear of little difference and it's even more of a guess than usualThat’s pretty much it. I’m out. No way Scoot, Brogdon, Ayton, and Duop were unable to play.
Whether there is a large difference or not in prospects from 4-7, it is still always better to be picking at 4, and getting the guy you want versus picking at 7 and getting the leftovers.Leaning your way, this continued sitting out so many guys sucks, in this draft the 4-5-6-7 spots frankly appear of little difference and it's even more of a guess than usual
My point is you imitate the genius and perhaps get close to them or get lucky. The Spurs have a basketball genius guiding that thing. We have some talented youth. But that's about it.
Yeah, I'm not so much trying to argue with you, just expressing my frustration. My point is you imitate the genius and perhaps get close to them or get lucky.

Aw, shucks... <blush>My favorite posters on here are the realistic ones. The ones that acknowledge our strengths AND weaknesses. Not a lot of ‘em, but there are a few.
