I probably should have worked with dogs if that is a rarity.

I was the only one who could handle my ex girlfriend's Malamute.

My wife still can't tell when one of our dogs needs to go to the bathroom. Sometimes she stands by the door because she wants to go look for the neighbor dog and others she has to go.

I can tell the difference.

When I was a kid a neighbor had malamutes, he had this harness that was connected to 6 car tires chained together and he would put a dog in the harness and have him drag the tires up and down the street to exercise them.

My ex's family had a steel fencepost buried with concrete they chained the poor dog to. They had a circular driveway and the post was opposite the house on the other side of it.

He pulled like a horse when they would come home and he bent the pole towards the house until it finally kinked.

I did let him loose one by accident. His leash got tangled on a walk and just as I unclipped it a rabbit ran across the street ahead of us. He was GONE!

He came right back but that thing moved.

The dog that liked to tow other dogs on their leashes was a half golden retriever, half chow. Big furry loving dog but damn he was strong. One time I walked him to Fred Meyers to pick something up. I hooked his leash to a rack of newspaper boxes and go into the store. 2 minutes later he was right behind me with the 3 newspaper racks in tow.

Lucky there weren't any cars between you and where you left him. Would have been expensive.

Then how do you explain the enormous amount of immigrants that come in the USA by plane or other ways and that 90% of the illegal drugs come through the port of entry.

Mexico needs to address the murderers, rapists and horrible people who escape to Mexico from the US....we only send them our criminals...and we've been doing it since the Wild West...I've seen those Glen Ford movies

I had a male Great Pyrenees, move to California when he was nearly grown. Or I thought he was, he got to about 140# pretty fast.
Had a big wall around the property in Los Altos with one side wall shared with a neighbor. I thought the dog would be fine in the walled in yard.
The wall was maybe 7 feet high.
Well any way the dog still seemed to be growing, the bugger got up to 35" tall at the shoulders. So when it was time to get him some more shots,
the vet weighed him for me. Geez the dude was now 185# and I don't know if he was done.

The neighbor boys were just becoming teenagers, and not too bright. When they were bored, they would crawl up on the wall and tease Oden.
Of coarse the dog played his role. Then they got brave, would come over the wall and scamper back before Oden could get to them.
The neighbor guy's name was Jim, so I called on Jim, we were pretty good friends. Thought should warn him that this shit might not turn out all that well. Yeah, thanks, take care of it.

Time slips by, I get home after work, and there is Oden, on top the fucking wall, sounding off like he owned Northern California.
I thought, Oh Shit! To make it worse, they was a big chunk of britches laying on the ground under the wall. Levi's maybe.

Well Oden jumps down off the wall, still walking like the boss. When they get that big, being Alpha, takes continuous work.

The next morning Oden was dead. Not sure how it happened, but it came to me that perhaps I didn't want to know.

mulvaney said steel fence. not wall. in my opinion this will be enough for real negotiations to begin for a solution. the wall has become trite, and now is undefined. time to get the government open and then deal with immigration reform and meaningful border security.

Trump can open the government right now. All the senate has to do is pass the bill they did before trump shut if down. Trump has twice now renegged on deals. How can he be trusted. He asks for 5 bil now which isn't close to being enough so he will likely comeback and make threats again to try and get more money. This isn't the way i want our country run.

get out the vote in 2020 then,if the president runs again. unless his actions are found to be oh so heinous....i expect both sides to be well motivated. this dysfunction has made everyone weary.

Now he wants to lie and make US pay for it and Trumpers are somehow fine with this. Grow a spine and hold the man baby's feet to the fire....

I know this will come as a shock to many of you but in all honesty I think it's time to reach across the aisle and make peace with our enemies and opponents in order to defend our border.

That's why I propose we defend our border with Laser Cats!

Laser Cats are a much better idea than a wall. Cats can go over walls, can go in smuggling tunnels, can get anywhere that illegals are trying to hide. Also they're small enough to ride on drones. Laser Cats can also see in the dark. And if they happen to kill to occasional mouse or bird, oh well, free dinner.

This dog is two paws up for Laser Cats!
